Good but noisy - sounds like it will take off!
Good, first couple of uses it was quiet, but now it sounds like an aeroplane engine about to take off and can un nerve clients. In general does what its supposed to, just a bit noisy.

Supplied centrifuge tubes to long
Centrifuge is good value and works well and qualifies for 5 stars. As expected, there is some noise so avoid listening to the radio/tv/phone call. The suction feet work very well and there is no movement even when operated at the highest rpm. It says 4000 rpm but I have no way to confirm that.My only issue is with the supplied centrifuge tubes that are too long - at full speed the bottom of the tubes hit some internals and caused a gouge (see photo) as well as a good deal more noise. I replaced them with these which work fine: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CHPPX5M6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Useful piece of equipment for school science labs
We’ve been using this centrifuge in our school science lab, and it does the job well. It’s easy to set up and operates smoothly, with strong suction feet that keep it stable during use. The speed and timer controls are simple to adjust, making it great for students to use under supervision. However, it does get quite noisy after a few uses—loud enough to be distracting during lessons. The supplied tubes were a bit too long, but we swapped them out for shorter ones. Overall, it’s a reliable and affordable option for basic lab work, just be mindful of the noise!

Work great
The media could not be loaded. While I thought this might have a versatile interior for switching out the bottles and possibly for use at home with juices, I found it's not, and is only for the usual medical grade tubes. Not a deal breaker as that's what the ad states it does.Quite portable, even though a bit bulky, but still definitely light weight. Rotation is extremely fast (no way to say how fast) but pretty sure it will get the job done. Noise levels are OK, however I did notice an extra hum even when the device wasn't spinning and even for a short while after unplugging it.Still not a bad centrifuge overall

Basic Centrifuge
If you need a basic centrifuge for whatever purpose then this is a great budget buy. There are much more high tech ones out that with lots of fancy functions but at the end of the day if all you need is a centrifuge to spin liquids then this does that perfectly. The machine feels solid. It has very useful strong suction feet on the bottom giving it a very stable base which is great when running at high speed. It is very simple to use with just two buttons to turn to set the spin speed and spin time. Nothing fancy, it just does the job.The item is listed as portable which technically you can carry it around but I think calling it portable is stretching it a bit as it is a bulky item. I don't think many people purchasing a centrifuge will be considering it for its portability but just so you know in case you are I don't think portability has been a consideration when designing this item.At £69.99 (at the time of writing) this offers remarkable value for such a professional machine.

good choice for needing an affordable, portable centrifuge with basic functionality
Pros:Compact and Portable Design: The machine's small size makes it ideal for use in tight lab spaces or even for mobile applications. It's lightweight and easy to transport, which is a big plus for professionals who need a centrifuge on the go.Adjustable Speed Control: The ability to control the speed up to 4000 rpm allows for versatility in experiments and applications. This feature is especially useful in labs that require flexibility for different types of biological or medical samples.Timer Function: The built-in timer is convenient, allowing you to set it and attend to other tasks without worrying about over-centrifuging your samples. It’s a great hands-off feature for busy lab environments.Durable Build: The construction feels solid for a desktop centrifuge in this price range. It seems capable of handling regular use without significant wear, which is essential for labs needing consistent performance.Cons:Noise Level: One downside is that this centrifuge tends to be noisy, especially when operating at higher speeds. This can be a distraction in a quiet laboratory setting, so it may not be ideal if noise is a concern.Limited Capacity: The small size means limited sample capacity, which might be a downside for larger experiments or when processing multiple samples at once. It's better suited for small-scale applications or individual use.Basic Controls: While the timer and speed control are useful, the interface is quite basic. Some users may find it lacking in more advanced features that other, higher-end centrifuges might offer, like digital displays or more precise settings.
