The storage box has no insert for tool storage
Package arrived promptly .Unit bought as present but is a good brand and feels solid.Had hoped for an insert to retain saw unit but it a completely empty box. The storage box is very robust and will keep Unit safe during construction work.

Quality Product
I'm only a DIYer but sometimes only this kind of saw does the job. Using a 4mha battery it does not last very long but adequate. Feels a quality product and, of course, being XR is the main draw owing to battery compatibility.

Does exactly what it should do..and no cables!
As always another well made Dewalt product, works well, a little on the heavy side for me but I am a small female! Definitely need a good pair of safety goggles to wear while using it.

Amazing
Well balanced when using it. I have used the tool for cutting scafolding tubes, with the right blade. I have also used it to cut tree branches up to about 7 inches, with the right blade, with a 5 amp battery. The case that comes with you can fit 4 x 5 amp batteries or tho batteries and one basic charger. Sadly you cant fit the Dewalt fast charger unless you start cutting the internal plastic mold. So I keep my fast charger in a seperate box. Maybe something Dewalt should think about as a basic charger would take twice as long to charge and if you are a trade person you would wanted a 5 Amp charged in the hour. Still its a great kit hence the 5 stars

Really useful!
Really useful tool, but the hand vibration is much worse than I had imagined was allowable for a retail product. Great for a short, quick job, but not for a longer period of work.

Happy every time I use this
Love the fact that the blade can be turned 90 degrees to get in to awkward spaces . The short light body helps with that too. Surprisingly great power for an 18 V. Am very glad I bought thisJoiner Belfast

SO VERSATILE
Super tool, so versatile.Weather cutting fence posts,pruning trees or fitting kitchen cupboards. Gets to all those awkward places and saves time. I use it all the time, wonderful tool.

Good for small jobs
eats the battery fast, not for long use unless you have plenty of batteries, better to buy the 54v unit
