Worked perfectly!
It worked great for me. I went to their website, tethertools.com and found the correct cable I would need. I have a Canon 5D Mark 2. I downloaded a 30 day free trial of Capture One. There is an attachment you can buy for the tether cable so it doesn't come out of your camera. I dont have that, but I would recommend it. The cable came out a few times, but only because I stepped on the cable, not being used to tethering and having said cable plugged in. Tethering makes a HUGE difference! You can see detail in your shot, you can apply changes, curves adjustments, bring up the shadows, etc., on an image and then the next images you take will have those changes automatically. Thats when you use Capture One. Not an advocate for them, I just didnt have anything else to use to tether with. Tethering is a game changer as you'll see. If you' re used to looking at a tiny LCD to determine if you've got the shot, as we all know, cant really see details. I highly recommend this cable for tethering and obviously going to their website to determine the correct cable you will need.

Solid construction
Seems to be decent quality. Good protection at the points of connection. Works as advertised. Haven't had it long enough to verify it yet, so I can only give 4 stars for the subcategories. But overall, 5 stars for being/doing exactly what I expected.Though honestly, I feel as though it's overpriced. I feel like I paid for that noticeable orange color (and brand), than for the actual quality of the product. I couldn't blame anyone for just getting a cheap USB cable and making sure to not stress the connection points. With decent support you could get away with a cheaper one that will last just as long. Just don't forget to get something brightly colored because that's also a benefit of this cable.

Finally got my Nikon D300 to tether to Mac
After many hours of trial and error I finally got my tether to work in Lightroom classic by removing the memory cards before linking the camera to the computer (make sure the Lightroom Classic is open in Rosetta if shooting on Mac). Hope to save some of you the headache of tethering issues

Does not fit Nikon D3400 as advertised
I was really excited to get this item only to discover it doesn't fit my camera. I was on the Tether Tools website and they asked me to put in my camera model, which I did, and this was the cord they told me to get. I even checked again just now to make sure I didn't misread. I didn't. This is not the cord for my camera. I'm very frustrated because I live in The Bahamas and use a courier to get my items so now it's going to be a hassle to return this.
