I ordered this product when I had a cold/cough that wouldn't go away! The congestion was not eased by any over-the-counter remedy I tried. Then, after using this device only once, it immediately brought up some of that mucus and made my cough productive! It takes a little practice, as it forces you to breathe in a different way, but it really does work. There are 3 sized metal balls so you can choose the one that's best for you. It's easy to disassemble & clean. Also has a nice, velvet drawstring pouch so you can take it to travel. Definitely worth the cost!!

I purchased the FlutterValve Valve Device in September 2024 and have been using it since. It really is so simple to use but very effective as well. Since then, my lung issue has improved and I would highly recommend this product.

I’m honestly impressed this little device. We've been passing around the normal colds, etc. over the last couple of months, and this little contraption has really been helping! I feel like it is helping loosen up any mucus in my chest, which makes it easier to clear it out without having to cough so hard. I just do a few minutes in the morning and evening, and try to stay in a routine. The adjustable resistance is great too - I started with the lightest setting and am working my way up. It’s like a workout for your breathing muscles, but doesn't require very much effort at all.The device is simple to use - just open it up - stick one of the 3 different sized balls that come with it in the compartment, close it up and breathe through it. I took it with me to see my doctor and they were impressed to.

I was shocked and overjoyed at how well this allowed my mucus to be dispelled. I had bronchitis 4 months ago and I hadn’t been able to get all these months long congestion out of my chest as of today. I didn’t think this would work but I had nothing to lose. Whoever invented this contraption was a genius. I feel like a new person today-the same day I received it! This is a life changer! I’m going to buy another one so I can always have a backup! If you are someone that has a hard time of getting hard or old mucus out of chest get this- you will not be disappointed!

The seller did a poor job of inspecting their product before shipping. Two of the three balls were missing and the box was crushed but the contents were undamaged. I checked to see about getting the missing items shipped, rather than do a return, but that wasn't possible. So, I tried the product to see if it was worth the bother. I think my unit came with the largest pellet and I can't say whether it works or not. It may loosen chest congestion so that it can be coughed up easier.This unit this isn't worth the asking price but it was the least expensive to experiment with. Three pieces of molded plastic and three SS bearing that cost a total of a buck. And my experiment's result if inconclusive. If you have a congestion issue and are curious, I would look for another, better made version from a different seller.

I showed the Acapell Flutter Valve Device to my pulmonologist and he approved. After a few practice tries, it's easy to get the hang of and use. The trick is to hold your cheeks tight & don't let them fill with air (it's not like blowing a whistle). I repeat the process about 10 times until I feel that I have done all that I can to clear my lungs. The vibrations created by the flutter valve definitely do assist in the success of this process.

Wow. I watched my step mom use this, it’s so simple. And it’s not too expensive. I’m going to recommend this for all my patients with mucus. It’s probably just as good as the $50 Portex one.
