Exactly as described and same as was in the laptop. So easy to replace, just like the videos showed. 7 tiny screws (place them in a cup so you don’t lose them and remember where the shorter ones go). The whole replacement took no more than 6 minutes. Battery was 50% charged, so let it charge fully overnight. Worked beautifully after that. You can’t beat the price, but shop others. Just make sure it is one for the same brand/model.

I purchased the FUTUROSP HW03XL L97300-005 Laptop Battery to replace my original laptop battery. It came as a kit, which also included a plastic pry tool, a philips screwdriver, and star screwdriver, along with instructions. It was packaged well and arrived on time. Installation was simple. Out of the box, it had a charge of 80%. It was basically inserted and ready to go. I am very pleased with this product and I highly recommend it.

Battery lasted less than12 months and I originally gave a one star for the product. Seller immediately reached out to me with an offer Based on this I have upgraded my rating. I realize any product can be defective, it's how the seller handles the situation.

it works great in the beginning. But 8 months later, the laptop kept shutting down at 67% of power. It can't be restarted unless I plug it in.20241224 updateI email them the same day I make the review. I sent my order # etc. It's within the 12 month warranty period. Within 48 hours I got a replacement battery on my doorstep.Very good customer service.I upgraded this from 2 to 4 stars because of the great service.I installed the replacement battery with the tools they supplied. Very easy. Hope it last this time. Will update

Your USA cousins on this side of the pond very much appreciate it.We had to unscrew the entire under plastic bottom plate of the laptop (about 10 screws) and pry it open with a utility spatula in order to get to the battery. HP really needs to find a better place for their batteries. Some people like to do things themselves and changing a battery should be a "no brainer." Changing this battery required us to remove the laptop bottom in its entirety. Furthermore, one of the screws was literally holding down a clamp at one of the edges opposite the battery location, When we removed all screws, we heard this clamp moving about the inside of the laptop.-- not a good feeling nor invoking good confidence on something that should be a no brainer!- like removing a battery from a toothbrush. One doesn't have to take out the top bristle head or any other part than the place where the battery is located. We prayed this laptop would work once the battery was replaced and turned on. Thankfully our prayer was immediately heard.I will definitely buy with confidence from this very knowledgeable vendor. I ordered this battery in January, and at first it was great, with it holding a charge for hours. Within 6 weeks it started decreasing to maybe a couple hours. As of last week, unless it is plugged in, the batter dies within minutes. As soon as I plug it in, it says it's at 99% charge. I unplug, it's back to turning my laptop off for "critically low battery". This battery is a waste of money!4/13/25 - Update...I originally gave this battery a 1 star review. I still think the original battery was a waste of money, but the customer service this company has is excellent and made up for it! I reached out to the seller after writing my review and they offered to send a new battery, which I received within 48 hours. The customer service is definitely worth additional stars.
