Metabo HPT KITNT506538M 18 - 15 Gauge Pneumatic 3-Tool Finish/Trim Nailers Combo Kit

I purchased these nail guns to replace aging Ridgid guns. These have, now, been tested and used extensively on a large and ongoing renovation project. All three have been flawless. Metabo is a great company and the build quality on these 3 guns is top notch!

SOLID VALUE FOR THE MONEY

Winterized a 800sqft screened back porch with 8mil plastic, siding, trim with all metabo hpt nailers and "the tank" pancake air compressor. All tools worked very well. I would recommend to others.

I was worried these were used/refurbished given the seller is CPO but they arrived looking brand new each with their own case. Maybe just old stock.I’ve put a couple hundred nails and staples through the 15 and stapler, both started frequently misfiring after some use. The pin would not fully retract. I disassembled the 15ga nailer and found that the return air holes were partially plugged with thick old looking grease. I cleaned, regreased with slick honey, and lightly filed the tip of the pin as it had some roughness. Nailer now works perfectly smooth and has had no misfires since.

I’ve often thought matabo looked like hitachi then I found out it was hitachi just under a new ownership. Germans general have a low tolerance for crappy quality so I’m happy. I have a hitachi NR 83 nail gun from 1981 and it’s still working!

Already own many hitachi and metabo guns. I have not used the stapler yet, but the 15 and 18 gauge are quality tools.

Right out of the box, on a job and on the second shot, the nails started shooting through the plastic magazine instead of the head... like it should. Never in my life have I seen a brand new gun actually shoot through itself with every shot... just crazy.
