Great bit of small kit
The product was smaller than I expected (not a bad thing at all!), but setup couldn’t have been easier. It’s truly plug-and-play—just connect the antenna, power it on, and you're all set. It integrated seamlessly into my home network with no need to run messy coax cables around the outside of the house.I added it to Plex, and it was instantly discovered on the network (after assigning it a static IP, which I highly recommend for stability). Everything has been working flawlessly since. One downside: the HDHomeRun app doesn’t support remote viewing via VPN, which is a bit frustrating. Fortunately, Plex fills that gap perfectly for streaming away from home.

Better to stream over WiFi than wire with coax.
It does what I needed, connects to my arial and allows up to 4 devices to stream broadcast TV over my home WiFi. I chose this rather than using an arial splitter and running 4 coax cables through walls and floorboards. The app works on phones, iPad and AppleTV or you can use a web interface. The app is a bit clunky, notably not using familiar navigations on AppleTV but it works.

Works great with Plex
Excellent device for Plex Live TV! Easy to setup and it's stable. The streaming picture and sound quality is great. It found all channels with strong signal-rate at first scan.

Works Well,
I have this connected to my router, it shows up on my smart TV (not used it this was through); I mainly use this on my Synology NASwhich has PLEX running on it, it shows clearly, Plex is able to record multiple channels for free and the recorded items and live TV can be viewed outside the house / in other households over the internet. I found setting this up needed the PC/Mac to run the HDHomeRun App to be able to search for channels/Tune the box (it was already up to date so did not need a software update) everything else I have done has mainly been within Plex.I have found the Home HD app clunky and you cannot record on this unless you have a subscription to do so on their own app.I have read it can be powered through a POE switch but read that this is not advised from the maker so i have not tried this (expensive if i break it).Although expensive, it has been doing what I is intended for really well, and fairly simply and in good time (not clunky or slow).

I really liked this, but firmware update broke it
I realy liked this as a product. It was supported by all DVR software I could find and even worked with 10 year old MythTV installation. The signal level monitoring and decoding support software was great to analyse and verify the aerial connection and design.I was pleased with the performance and the architecture alloed me to decouple the TV tuning from the DVR software and hardware - enabling not only ideal tuner placement but also a choice of minim PC vs desktop, windows or Linux installation.I was looking to update my DVR system to a newer generation and future proof it.The trial and testing went well. I ran the firmware upgrade web page and this just sat there for an hour. After that, no more signals detected and it would no longer tune. This killed the idea of future proofing a system, so I had to return it. Amazon provided a full refund so I'm disappointed but still think the idea and hardware is really good.

Impressed
Bought this to go with my Synology and Plex.It was so simple to setup, simple intrusions to follow that come in the box and also when trying to link to Plex.Very impressed with it, expensive but worth the money.

Good product, poor support
I have had this device for just over a week and so far, I really like it. However, getting it set up was a challenge. It came with a small leaflet which not only had very limited information, basically how to plug it in, but it was also for the wrong model!I did manage to connect it up to my network without much problem, and likewise with downloading the app. Again, no instructions on how to subscribe to the recording service. After looking on line I finally found the web site and subscribed to the recording service which costs £35 PA. However, it would not record. I looked at all the help on line and tried plugging in 3 different HDDs, but nothing.I managed to find a UK phone number for support which I called. I was asked to leave my phone number and someone would call me back. Although I called twice. No one ever did called back.I raised a ticket with the one line support and did get a response. They stated the problem was my HDD and said the problem was the age of my HDD, stating:-“old drive pulled out of a spare parts box? Strongly recommend you use something new or at least fairly recent. Old junk tends to not work just because of age”I thought their reply was a bit rude and not that helpful. I did tell them the HDD was working correctly but could they suggest which one I should get. A couple of days went by with no reply, so I just bought a new one from Amazon and hoped for the bestFortunately, it worked perfectly.I have been using this device for a few days and it is great. Got it on two TVs and my phone.
