This pitcher is far inferior quality compared to an OEM Vitamix pitcher. However, considering the cost I think it is a very good value. Functionality is fine; durability is questionable. But for now, it has put my old Vitamix motor back into service for little cost. Do note that the pitcher does not come with a tamper and your original Vitamix tamper is a bit too long for this jar, as it will reach into the blades! Overall, I am happy with this pitcher, but if you use your machine hard and frequently, and you have the money to spend, and OEM Vitamix pitcher is far better quality than this and might be the way you want to go.On the other hand, if you have an old Vitamix motor that you want to put back into service for making smoothies and milkshakes, you will be probably be happy with this pitcher.

Je n'ai pas encore utilisé le récipient avec le Vitamix, mais sa qualité semble très en dessous de celle de l'original de marque Vitamix. Le bouchon du couvercle est arrivé cassé et je n'ai pas envie de gérer le retour et tout les tracas qui va avec, je vais recoller avec les morceaux que j'ai même s'il en manque un petit morceau. S'il fonctionne bien, je reviendrai sur cet avis pour ajouter une ou deux étoiles.

This works great with my older vitamix. The price is great. Very happy with the purchase.

This is not an original Vitamix. It’s junk. It’s cheap plastic and has been a complaint ever since we purchased it.

The container is made out of cheaper plastic than the oems but at 1/5 the cost I will be buying this one again. So far working great, I just don’t expect it to last very long in a commercial kitchen.
