This item (Online Labels' product code OL177WJ) is made from a very durable material. The label material has a water-fast inkjet coating that is designed to repel water and it has a strong, permanent adhesive. That being said, I am not sure that I would recommend it for the uses you have mentioned. The label material itself will likely hold up to the conditions, but I am not sure how the ink from your inkjet printer will hold up when exposed to sunlight & salt water. You may see the colors fade quickly when exposed to UV light & salt water. The results will vary depending on your inkjet printer and the colors used so I would highly recommend testing the product to see if you are happy with the results. Q: Is this completely waterporoof?

Maybe they sent me the wrong sticker paper but what i received is DEFINITELY NOT waterproof. One drop of water smudged all of my ink and ruined the sticker. Good thing I tested them before mailing for my orders.
