We have only just received this and already are having problems. The power lead is not removeable so the unit cannot be taken out for cleaning. Our vivarium is 4 foot high and the power lead can only come out of the top of the unit (cannot really risk drilling a hole through glass). So once the power lead is in place it will be very difficult to remove the whole thing again. So the unit will have to be placed at the front so we can take it apart and wipe it down in situ.The water area is over 12 cms from the ground and over 3 cms inside the unit, so branches and supports need to be placed all around the unit to allow access unless your reptile can stand up and reach with its mouth that high up.Our present dripper is a nightmare so we believe that this will be an improvement, but it will take a lot of work and cleaning is only doable if you can remove the whole unit including plug. As the power lead will be attached to branches to keep it hidden and safe - this will not be doable for us except in extreme circumstances.

Complete trash.... cheap plastic rubbish, the pump is noisy and vibrates, my bearded dragon won't go near it... Probably not bad value for £5, but at this ridiculous price point it's a complete waste of money....

If your thinking of buying a water fountain for a lizard or chameleon buy this , we had been through. So many other name brands from reptile shops and the pumps always stopped working after a while but this fountains design is great plus they give you a spare pump - I’m super impressed so far and it’s much easier to fill and clean it’s worth the money
