Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Chopped Walnuts, 16 Ounce

I am very happy with these chopped walnuts. The size and appearance of the pieces was good and nothing was overly crushed. These tasted very good and very fresh. They have a good crunch and are very high quality walnuts. These are great as a hearty healthy treat or snack. I am so happy I found these and I can easily recommend them.

Caution:- I am a long term Amazon customer, and am very grateful that the company is there. Amazon makes our lives so much better. - Every morning I eat chopped walnuts. But at least 3 times now I’ve hit pieces of walnut SHELL. Don’t think I’ve swallowed any yet, but now have to inspect all pieces on a plate before eating. Not good.#2. May 23rd. Hit a small piece of shell while chewing. About the same size as walnut pieces. Suggestion: I now spread my daily handful on a plate to inspect before putting on cereal. From now on I’ll buy halves and break them down myself. Product quality good, but machines that produce the small pieces sometimes also break the shells apparently.Be careful !

OK My original review which follows was a bit harsh. Only a few would probably truly qualify as truly rancid but the whole batch was at least stale. .....I was tempted by the price vs major name brand . From the first taste i suspected rancid but wanted to make sure it wasn't just a nut or two ... dug down. all of them taste off (Taste) .. I'd never buy again I fed them to the squirrels

Great. Even when you catch a deal. I’m gonna make candied walnuts with these. Arrived sealed and within a descent expiry timeframe.
