Must be strip-to-wire, must be the correct size strip
I was a little hesitant to get these because of some of the negative reviews. But, these connectors are super simple and easy to use if you have the right strip (12mm, 6 pin). One end of the connector has pins that insert into the contacts on an LED strip when closed, the other side has guide holes to insert LED wires. This cannot connect strip-to-strip or wire-to-wire.The LED strips I got had wires soldered onto the ends already. This actually prevented me from using the connectors at first, but I simply had to trim the strips at the closest cut point and I could then attach the strip to the connector, and then the wires from another strip to the other side of the connector. Worked perfectly to join three strips together!

These WORK because of the little guide holes. Get them!
I tried the other type of strip-to-wire connector, the kind that's black on one side and clear on the other, and they didn't work reliably. They just push the wires down haphazardly and miss the contacts sometimes. I finally found these clear ones and they work beautifully because they have guide holes for the individual wires to slide into before crimping down.Warning that they do not work perfectly the first time every time; you do have to test them and check carefully that you get firm pressure and line up the copper contacts on the strip side. But after a little trial and error they work splendidly; don't give up!

Not professonal quality but it'll get the job done
Works well with this product: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBGGRGDL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1When you press fit, be warned that it is still fragile and cables may fall out if handled too rough. Also the product information claims these are one time use only, and that is blatantly false. Use a small flat-headed screwdriver to pop off the sides to remove and re-use these adapters as needed. This is for 12MM long 6 pin RGB CW WW strips.

Installed 5 and they all worked perfect with some interesting
100% success rate using these connectors. On the LED side I did remove the silicone coating down to the copper pads and used pliers to close the connection. On the wire side I used 6 conductor wire (ASIN : B07T6LCZKJ) and just had to separate the wires a bit, line up, push in, and again use pliers to close the connector.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T6LCZKJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1The only issue I had with these connectors is some of them were already snapped closed when they arrived requiring a thin screwdriver between the body and connector piece with quite a bit of force to reopen. None of them broke doing this and snapped back closed just fine. One other small issue, not with the connectors as such, was that the LED strip I was using came with pre soldered wire ends that did not match the wire (above) exactly as I expected. The LED strip has both cool white and warm with the pre soldered yellow wire for cool and white wire for warm, backwards from what I would expect. Using these connectors and wire (above) warm white is powered by the yellow and cool with the white wire. It is possible to cross the yellow and white with this connector or better yet cut off the factory wires and use these for all connections.

Possibly Killed 2 of my strips
Not sure if its coincidence, but two of my light strips stopped working after using these. I didn’t try to connect on a third to know for sure, can’t afford it.

Work most of the time
When they work they're great but they're very finicky. I've had them installed for almost a year with BTE lights but I've had to replace a few connectors as the colors start to flicker over time.

Works well, but use pliers!
These work great and have been in place for months. I built my own under cabinet lighting and used these to connect the wires with the led strips. My only recommendation is to use a pair of pliers to firmly close the clips for both the wires and the strips. You should hear a faint/soft click. The plastic is very strong, so as long as you clamp it evenly I don't think you will have a problem. I did not break a single clip.Overall, this made installation much easier than having to solder over a brand new countertop.
