Buy one - and belt up!
Yep, this is another quality product from the Stanley brand. Let me firstly mention the dimensions of this 4mm thick REAL LEATHER belt. Measuring from the end of the buckle to the pointy end of the tail, it’s length is 131cm (51.5in), and it’s 45mm wide (1.75in) - so NOT 52mm (2in) as given by the online seller back in January 2018. The stitching throughout is neat and precise, and a thick, solid steel chromed buckle is there to reassuringly cinch it up around your six-pack (or whatever else you have down there). By the way, that buckle is securely held in place by a stitched leather closure and four sturdy steel rivets. Will it fit ya? Well if you have a waist measurement between 30in - 46in, then you should be absolutely fine.Although this could be worn as a conventional belt for keeping your trousers up, it’s true purpose is as a belt for securely and comfortable holding various tools and pouches. I actually bought mine to wear when I go metal detecting, so I wear this slightly above my trouser line, and attach my ‘finds’ pouch, my pin pointer holster, my leather phone holder, and my trowel pouch to it. Unlike the heavy-duty nylon tactical belts I’ve used in the past, this one doesn’t crimp or slip down when it’s got a lot of weight hanging off it. I actually bought this belt on the recommendation of fellow metal detecting buddies, who are in the building trade, so wear theirs for work as well as for play! Really, given the quality of the workmanship that’s gone into making this thick, GENUINE LEATHER belt, and considering how comfortable it is to wear, I think it’s a no-brainier when it comes to deciding whether or not to buy one. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that it’s also reasonably priced - so just go for it, you’ll be so pleased you did!! Highly recommended.

Dimensions
I like this belt as it's tough. On the slight downside the dimensions are a bit out.On Amazon it says 130 x 2.5 x 65 cm. On the packaging it says 130 x 2.5 x 6.5 cm and 51" x 7/8" x 2 1/2".I don't know where you get 2.5cm from unless they mean 2.5mm in thickness. (7/8th"?). Therefore the 65cm width should also be 65mm or 6.5cm! (2 and 1/2"). In fact it isn't that wide anyway it's just under 50mm, not even 2".See photo.Confused?I'm still keeping it as I can't find a real 2 1/2" wide belt anywhere and this is near as I can get.

TOP QUALITY 4 MM THICK LEATHER
I'm retired now but still have an older Stanley belt like this for slotting on my tools pouches etc when doing my own domestic maintenance chores still. The reason why I ordered another is because they are really good belts for just holding your trousers up too - and the extra thick 4 mm leather just doesn't stretch like with more bog-standard belts that are made from thinner hides of leather - and that's what I intend to use this posh new one for. It's so well made that It will last for decades - or see me out ( whichever comes first ).Eamonn

Simple strong and well made, apart from comfort.
Really strong belt in looks and feel; only downside is that the leather is a bit too tough and it can dig into the belly or waist from time to time, but feels like it will out last normal leather belts by a good many years. Might even purchase a second; Stanley should really consider bringout a larger waisted belt an a narrower one too for business trousers. Good buy.
