Compact but powerful
Very nicely done. This covers it all, makes a plunge profound, and relates the point in a way that is drawing in and instructive. It is an all out page turner.Humanity consistently appears to require something to turn upward to, (to keep us in line?), saints, animals that are more noteworthy than we are. Religion gives comparable structure to us also, and there are extraordinary equals, in my brain, between most religions and folklore. An overwhelming undertaking without a doubt to handle the Greek divine beings and goddesses, yet here it is finished with style and detail, giving far beyond I anticipated. With a compact timetable that presents the characters all through their development/birth, it assisted me with getting a handle on the family structure and elements such a great amount of in a way that is better than the grim books read before. This is a brief yet far reaching review of Greek folklore. I have been intrigued by the whole subject since school, there are fights for power, skewer measured consciences, desires for youth and magnificence, and furies unreasonable, with the inescapable dismal or terrible outcomes.what's more, it dispatched my advantage in fantasies and legends, reasoning, the human psyche, and otherworldliness, from that point forward. This book is wonderful as a boost for any individual who has been keen on Greek folklore, or as a first look. Direct statements from source material would add to the experience, and give perusers a sample of how clear and rich Greek can be.The book is anything but difficult to peruse, however interesting. Also, engaging! The tales of the different divine beings are entrancing! We conceded them such human characteristics; people made divine beings that are as defective as we may be! However, it's incredible enjoyable to find out about them.Surveyed in the United States on December 15, 2020I was wonderfully astonished by how exhaustive this book was, given that it's not long and Greek folklore can get pretty tangled. It begins with the Greek form of the start of the universe and attempts to disentangle what happened when (notwithstanding clashing source material), and follows its way to the Olympians, the most notable of the Greek divine beings. It likewise covers places like Hades and half-divine beings like Achilles and Hercules. The fantasies and legends that we made for ourselves have by one way or another engaged us and in fact served us here and there.

Good introduction
This was a good introductory level book to Greek mythology. I did find myself feeling annoyed/amused by the author saying several times, “all the worshippers of this pantheon are long gone”. I have some news for you sir, we are not 😂. Many Pagans and witches everywhere still work with and worship these gods and goddesses. But otherwise good, short introduction book.

Concise Overview of Greek Mythology
As a retired English and Social Studies teacher, I always enjoyed teaching Greek Mythology, and it was often my students' favorite part of the curriculum. I wish I had this little book when I was teaching because it does a great job of quickly summing up each God and Goddess and their relationships to each other, which can sometimes be confusing. Uncovering Greek Mythology also includes lesser known deities...at least ones I had never heard of before. I especially enjoyed the author's explanations of the origins of words we use every day like panic (pan), out in the sticks (styx), etc. I knew some of them, but some were new to me, and being a teacher, I love learning new things! Fun read!

Alot of good information in small dissections!
I enjoyed this book. There was a lot of good information about each god/demigod/character in small chunks. Because it covered a little bit of everything it got a little hard to focus on who i was reading about especially if i didnt put the book down for an hour. Some of the wording seemed repetitive but thats ok. Overall a good read and a great way to dabble in Greek Mythology to strike an interest on exploring it more.

Absolutely amazingly organized
The way the book is organized is so good and makes me want to read more. This is because every section is short and sweat and the gives you more to look forward to. The author is also very good at getting to the point and I love him for being that way, it makes me want to read more, I guess I’m buying more of his books!

Good introduction
I’ve always wanted to learn about mythology but didn’t go to college and I wasn’t exposed to it in high school. Kept my attention and I felt like I know have a basic knowledge of Greek Mythology. It’s a pretty easy read and well worth the money.

Just ok
First, this is self or amateur published, which means a lot of printing/font and spacing errors. The content is ok, but quite brief and superficial, and the writing is overly ornamented and could use a good editor. It's a small paperback, so the price is quite high. No charts or illustrations. Not a bad little primer, but know what you're getting.
