Great quality for a great price!
I need a display monitor to work from home. This was on sale and had good reviews. I am very happy with it. Nice and clear quality picture, easy to hook up.

Good value for the money
Pros:Does what a 1080p screen should. No issues getting it to run at the advertised refresh rates, two HDMI and two DP inputs. Seems like decent color quality. No dead pixels, and I love the thin bezel. No extra frills, decent specs.Cons: Pictures on Amazon for it are slightly out of date since it doesn't show the correct inputs on the revision I received. Power supply is a barrel connector with a wall adapter at the end, and the total length is ~1 meter. Personally I am neither a fan of the wall adapter nor the short lenght, I prefer a standard cable with the necessary transformer either in the screen housing (if possible) or a box inline with the cable (ex. standard laptop power adapter) so it can more easily fit with power strips/surge protector. A 2m total length would give more reasonable flexibility. Also, the labeling on the inputs (and specs) advertise DisplayPort 1.4, but they include a DisplayPort 1.2 cable. It works for what I need it for, but why the disparity? No HDMI cable included, but those are quite readily available...but it can be annoying when one is not in the box.

Superb Monitor, Nifty Features, Crisp Quality.
When my friend recommended Pixio to me I was a bit hesitant because of their price tag. However, I bit the bullet and bought the monitor when it was on sale. The picture is crisp and the settings allow for a rather dynamic set of changes. You can also save different profiles into the monitor itself so you can easily have a few different "picture modes" along side the ones that come standard. The on-screen FPS display is a bit too big for my liking, but it's still cool they include the feature. The crosshair is super useful, since it can not only be re-positioned, but there's a few variations on the style too. No more putting a piece of tape on the screen and drawing a dot here, and no need to buy some silly laser-dot string to put on your monitor either. There's also a timer built into the screen but I haven't actually made use of that just yet.All in all, it's a great monitor and well worth the money, sale or not. But do pay attention to which model you're buying. The 248 and 248S are almost identical, but the 248S is a bit smaller in height (like 2-4cm or so) and has a higher refresh rate (144hz vs this one at 120).

Unreliable product but with good warranty and support. Beware!
The media could not be loaded. Update 7/16/24The monitor failed again, but Pixio's support (Jason) did offer to send to send an updated model to me without charge. I appreciated that gesture and it was the right thing to do. Had to wait several weeks before the monitor was available to be shipped, but I'm happy to report that the new monitor is responsive and working.. as it should be... I've been using it heavily the last couple weeks without any issues and hope that this monitor will last for years to come. Will update if any issues come up down the road.Update 5/3/24Pixio sent me a replacement monitor that was refurbished. The monitor they provided turned on, but it didn't work properly with my laptop. The pixels appeared distorted, and I couldn't adjust the monitor settings. For some reason, my computer just doesn't seem to like the Pixio monitors, at least not the 248P model.Pixio did suggest updating some drivers for my computer, and interestingly, the original monitor started working again as before. Let's see how this monitor performs over the next 6 months before updating this review again.Original review:The product worked well for about 5 months, but then it stopped working. All of a sudden, it wouldn't engage; it kept blinking as if not enough power supply was getting to it. I have a 2-year-old i7 ThinkPad X1 laptop that I use regularly for work and leisure. This is the only monitor that has ever had issues and stopped working for me... I sent it to Pixio to have it serviced (I had to pay a $14 shipping fee), and it came back with the same issues. Supposedly, they could not recreate my problem, which may be true, but obviously, this unit has some issues. This monitor turned out to be a complete waste of money, even though it was purchased on a Cyber Monday deal. Ironically, I can't even find this product on Amazon anymore. Hopefully, this review will help protect other buyers.

Great price and overall package
A monitor with 144hz. Pairs well with the Xbox Series X console system. Maxes out the frame rate at 120fps. Which makes the games buttery smooth. I love the HDR feature. It makes the screen nice and bright. A perfect size for gaming in my opinion and it doesn’t strain your eyes either. It has a Display Port and 2 HDMI ports for the connectivity. I recommend this monitor if you’re looking for a budget monitor with 144hz.

Incredible price for a great monitor
165 hz is incredibly smoother than 60 - 165 is noticeably smoother than 144, toopicture quality is good (it is 1080p)colors are fantasticviewing angles are perfecthardly any ghostingone con is the monitor stand gets in the way of the mouse, but it's ok cause you can swivel the stand sort of awaythe stand has good adjustmentsi was worried 24" was gonna be too small to enjoy gaming with coming from a 27 inch, but you really do just get used to ityeah, it's awesome
