This is a peri menopausal god send!As I’m sure all of the ladies looking at this product know the night sweats are real!The nights I would toss and turn because one minute I feel like I have the fires of hell on my skin so the blanket comes off, then I’m freezing so blanket back on, rinse and repeat forever more!Well no more! Certainly does what it is designed to do. My husband loves it, but it is too cold for me. tried putting a throw on top for me but it kept slipping off. But we will keep it.

I was super skeptical when I got it out of the pack but after a few nights sleeping with it im actually loving it . I can wrap myself up like a burrito if I want. It has the two different textured sides so I can flip and chose which texture I want on my body . It's comfortable to sleep with all night and super light weight . I typically sweat terribly at night and so far I haven't with this blanket even though the weather has been hot. Obviously it doesnt "cool" you down but I like the fact I can stay at one tempreture or move the fabric over and "cool" down again . I bought the biggest one so I can manipulate it as and when needed through the night . I have to admit I'm disappointed writing this review as I have the matching pillow case and it works wonderfully.Upon arrival the blanket is very compact and packed well. Its also very lightweight upon delivery. Once opened its nice and soft and very comfortable, One side is clearly cooler to the touch that the other while the other has a nice brushed cotton feeling. Now for the sad part, I bought this because the stupid British weather has been overly warm and its left me unable to sleep at night. , my Initial thought of the blanket was that it was lovely and cooling, however about 10 mins after tucking myself into bed it adjusted to my actual body temperature (I'm a human radiator sadly) and became quite uncomfortable as it just radiated by body heat back towards me. I have tried it for a few nights and while the initial cooling feeling doesn't last more than 10 mins I've found if you can sleep with a fan on it isn't as awful and I eventually got a good nights rest. Sadly in the currently world of our overpriced electrics its perhaps not visible in the long run.

This is the best thing I've ever purchased. I'm such a hot sleeper, and need a cover on to sleep. I've gotten cold overnight using this and it keeps me sweat-free and cool during the heatwaves. My dog loves it too.Summary:It works, is silky on it underside without catching, is a good size, requires a breeze to work (I leave the window open), and I'm fine with the price for the quality. I'm nervous about washing it but will follow the instructions and hopefully it will be okay.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I looked long and hard at these blankets before buying. I chose this one from reviews, price and quick delivery as due to the recent heatwave it was horrendous trying to cool down in my bedroom. I got the smaller one as hubby doesnt mind the heat. I however, am overweight and menopausal so really struggle in general let alone when the night-time temperature is 20 degrees. First impressions, it feels nice and it's a really good size. Cooling??? Well I was very happily surprised as to how much cooler it made me feel. I covered myself up until I cooled down then relied on the fan as usual. I just kept doing this and I slept so much better. It absorbs the heat then the cooling action wears off until the blanket cools again. By using the cooling side to initially cool down and then turning it over to the cotton side if I got all hot again it was nice and cool when I needed it. Has been a godsend these last few days
