I'm a big fan of this supplement which has some adaptogenic properties as well as quite good anti-anxiety effects. This supplement has a unique history, as it is essentially ground up fish guts from a fish that only lives off the coast of France. This substance has been used since Roman times and back then was thought to increase stamina, overall health and virility. I've heard from colleagues that it is a first-line treatment for anxiety overseas before moving towards pharmaceuticals. I've found it to be quite helpful for many of my clients, however, it needs to be taken daily and can be cost prohibitive for some. There have been studies supporting it's use that can be easily found online, just put Garum Amoricum into google and you'll find a good number of links. A Japanese study showed that after 3 months of use it increased alpha waves - the same waves that are increased with meditation and that instill a sense of calm.
