AMLS: Advanced Medical Life Support: Advanced Medical Life Support 3rd Edition

I am an EMT in paramedic school and this book is good both for education as well as an on the go resource when I am befuddled by a patient’s clinical presentation. I have on several occasions been able to verify that I was making an accurate working field impression because I had this book with me.It is an extensive source of knowledge that is also fun for me to read on my own time and expand the horizons of my practice. Furthermore it has helped me give accurate explanations for field decisions to nurses and doctors at the ED. It also helps me have discussions with patients when they have questions about a new diagnosis or reiterate to my hypoglycemic patients why it’s so vital that he stay on top of his insulin injections.I can’t speak for other medical provider positions, but I can say with absolute certainty that this book is a good use of your money as an EMT.

Great book. Only complaint is I ordered and paid for a new book. The one I received had clear bends and other obvious signs of wear and tear.
