You definitely get what you pay for with Samsonite as this is head and shoulders above others I have purchased over the years. Proven on a recent trip to Asia involving 6 flights, numerous hotels and taxi journey’s. . The webbing and buckle are both robust and substantial with the strap length more than sufficient to accommodate most case sizes. Adjustment and fitting of the strap is easy, and the plastic locking clip engages firmly and securely. With the added benefit of the TSA approved combination lock which is easy to program, engage and disengage. Having now returned from our 4 weeks journey the strap has passed with flying colours. It stayed firmly in place throughout with no sign of damage, fresh as the day I purchased it and ready for the next journey.

Good quality lock. Slightly too short to fit a large Samsonite case length way's and keep the buckle off the top edge of the case where it is more likely to damage the case when stacked up.

This is just plastic and fabric so I imagine someone could get in quite easily with a knife, but it is easy to use, inexpensive, and should deter opportunistic thieves as well as making your bag more distinctive on the luggage belt. If you have a small bag, just put it round twice.

I purchased it to use for a cheaper suitcase where the zipper breaks if too full. The belt held the suitcase together, no damage to the zipper even through a number of transfers. Looks great and the passcode lock adds security. Looks great as well and is durable and well made as expected of the brand, highly recommend. It was on a more expensive side compared to cheaper versions but well worth it.

We have had these Samsonite luggage straps before and they are strong , secure and very smart. We bought our first one over 25 years ago because we had been to USA and Security broke our old locking luggage strap and the locks on our cases.

Good strap and lock. Just not letting Ng enough for a large suitcase.
