Does this kits have a bath filling function?

No it’s a stand alone item does not connect to the bath taps

Do you have to use copper pipes to go into mixer or can speed fit plastic ones be ok please ?

personally I use copper shower tails to fit into the mixer for a number of reasons but if you’re not great at soldering then you can get push fit copper like the Tectite stuff.

Is this shower suitable for over the bath

Not really as it does not have an outlet to fill the bath.

Work with combo boilers and is it thermostatic
