Captains Pure Antarctic Krill Oil TinyGels | 1-Bottle, 60 Capsules

It took me a while to find a krill oil supplement that I trust and with Captains Krill Oil I finally have. For unknown reasons, nearly all other krill oil products contain a sugar alcohol derived from corn syrup called sorbitol -- something I don't want to ingest. Captains is more expensive than many of the others, but to get a pure and real supplement like this for me it's worth the extra money. My advice, don't spend time looking for something better because you won't find it.

I'm taking it as a medicine so it is allowed even though I don't think shellfish products are good for us, but I feel you can isolate the good from the bad there therefore I take it. I know this oil is good for me, but I'm probably so healthy with taking Dr. Gundry's olive oil and the rest of my diet that I don't notice the difference that the Captains Krill oil makes. I don't need it to have a big explosion of feeling good in my body to know it's good for me and I will continue to take it.[Update 1/12/21] My first two bottles are almost gone and I'm gonna take the risk and purchase another couple bottles which will be another two months supply for me since I take two gel caps a day.I still haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary, but will continue taking it at least for the 6 month many back guarantee.

As an aging 85 year old, my feet started swelling to where I had to buy 2x larger size. Heard about the benefits of captains krill oil helping and decided to give it a try. To my amazement within one week and thereafter, absolutely no swelling whatsoever. This is the first supplement I’ve ever taken that actually does some good. Not even all the fish oil oil I’ve taken for many years have done anything at $45 a bottle. Im a happy camper…lol.

I just tried the product. Upon opening, I will say that the capsules and the container (inside) smell like hot cocoa mix. I have no idea why or if that’s concerning... I may cut open one capsule to “see/smell” what’s inside. I’ll update my review upon investigating and potentially trying them for a while.Update 7/2/20 - have been taking them since I received them with no adverse effects. Still wondering why they smell the way they do. I would expect a fishy smell, but that’s not the case. I haven’t opened one yet to see how it looks/smells. I will post another update after doing so.

I've used this product for a while now and have no complaints. I don't have blood tests (yet) to see how I'm doing with just this krill oil and not on any statin drugs, as far as my lipid profile goes. I have never had any ill effects to speak of...no gastric upset, "fishy burps", etc.My only concern is the recent price hike! Wow! This may deter a lot of people from trying/maintaining this product. Maybe the company can explain this. Fuel prices have been really low. Is this a temporary hike....based on supply and maybe the price may drop in the future?Anyway, other than the recent price hike, I can recommend this krill oil. I'll update this review when I have some lab results done. The company seems reputable and I've had no ill effects while taking it. It's really hard to say if I'd be feeling worse now without it, because I take it every day! Not sure if I want to stop to see if I feel bad!Update: Still using this product and I still have zero complaints!About the price....close to reasonable, given the quality of the product and the relative quickness of Amazon delivery. Krill oil is pretty much always more expensive than "fish oil", and I trust this company. I guess you could say that you get what you pay for!! I still need to get my lipids checked (my bad! :-/ ) But...I feel great!Upgraded to five stars!

I take Anartica Krill Oil for omega 3s and it helps swelling in my ankles. Good quality for the price.

Out of fish oil capsules. A neighbor recommended krill oil instead with lemon capsule covering. Expensive but provide same anti inflammatory & supposedly brain stimulation. I’ll have to get back to you on brain stimulation.
