Simply one of the best business inspirational books ever written
If you're reading this, you probably know that Jim Rohn is Tony robbins's mentor and has helped him through many aspects of his business. In this book, you'll learn about strategy, setting goals, action and emotion and how they all work together to create a great business strategist. I love this book and will recommend it to many people

One of the best books I’ve read all year!
The media could not be loaded. I never heard about this book until it popped up on my Amazon book list. I thought I’d give it a try so I ordered it yesterday received it today around 2 o’clock this afternoon and read for four hours. Tomorrow I’ll finish up the book. I took notes I loved, every minute that I spent reading this book. Thank you for the content you shared with me this will change my life and I just want to mention I’m not one to read a book from cover to cover in three hours let alone six months. I recommend this book because it has already change my life and will continue to direct my path through life and business. It’s worth every penny.

Simple and Effective Guidelines
Reading this as a part of our personal development for my group and really enjoyed it. Jim speaks in a very relatable manner and addresses problems such as goal setting and finance. For those who need a good set of initial steps to build their game plan, this is a great place to start.

principles are still relevant today (2024)
I love the examples, analogies, and quotes Jim uses through the text. The philosophy is so simple and you’ve probably heard these before but the way Jim had a way with words to easily “digest” the context as well as provide and actionable plan, is unreal. He challenges your thinking, gives you that kick the rear, helps you build a plan, and the best part…he references God in subtle, yet meaningful ways. Love this book.

Keep a highlighter handy with this one!
This book is loaded with a wealth (no pun intended) of information about personal development and even financial advice. The author explains how to navigate the path to personal and financial freedom in practical terms that anyone can understand. His 70/30 rule was something I'd never heard of and will definitely be putting into practice in my personal wealth plan. The author offered so many great anecdotes and examples that I could identify with, which really helped put his financial advice into perspective. A portion of the book is devoted to tips on achieving personal power, and some of them really hit home, causing me to reevaluate my goals and plans for success. One of my favorite quotes from this book was:"Don't just live another year. Instead, gather up the years and invest them in the next one."That statement is so simple yet very true. It's all in how one perceives life that determines what one will get out of life.I highly recommend this book to anyone who seeks sound advice to get started on the path to personal development and financial freedom.

I'm sorry I didn't find Jim Rohn until after his passing
I know there are already 25 reviews written on The 7 Strategies, but I just finished outlining my 10-year plan with specifics all because of Rohn's book and was motivated to share great feedback about this book.A friend introduced me to Rohn's work through forwarding his newsletter and so I looked on Amazon for some of his work and ordered 3 books. I've read all 3 I ordered, other two were Five Major Pieces to the Life Puzzle and Seasons of Life and I enjoyed 7 Strategies the most of the three.I also have 2 of his CDs and much of his work is repetitive or reiterated but as he says repetition is the mother of skill. The 7 concepts are easy: Goals, Seek Knowledge, Learn How To Change, Control Your Finances, Master Time, Be Around Winners, and Learn the Art of Living Well. What sets his book apart is his delivery and the way he paints the picture in your mind.A few of my favorite quotes from the book are, "I can't remember what he said, but I still remember thinking I would give anyting to be like him." and "It is impossible to manage your time effectively without well-defined goals." "Are your current friends helping you grow in the direction of your goals?" "Don't start your day until you've finished it on paper."His style is like a conversation with the reader. Very easy to read and inspirational without many overt references to religion.RIP Jim Rohn, I'm sorry I didn't get to see a seminar in person.
