Works for my old VW Golf 2007
Works great in my 2007 VW Golf. Plugs straight into the ipod dock under the central arm rest. I had one of those bluetooth FM transmitters before. This is so much better. It stays plugged in and automatically connects to my phone. Has much better sound quality than going through FM radio signal and I can skip tracks on the steering wheel now.No track info displayed, maybe because I'm on android. It's pretty expensive for what it is...but they have fixed a problem that bugged me for a while.

Easy setup and working well -Audi A6 2011
I wanted to add a Bluetooth adapter for my car to play music from Spotify and after researching several options on Amazon i went for this item. Really pleased with my purchase - this was easy to connect and configure and works well. Track listing is not displayed from Spotify on my car display but this is not an issue for me as I can see the track on my phone when it’s sat in its car cradle. Controls work either through car audio controls or from phone and the sound quality is good. Phone reconnects to Bluetooth automatically, very happy with purchase.

Worked First Time - Skoda Octavia VRS (2011)
I have been looking for a solution for playing my iPhone in my (now quite old) car caused by moving to Apple Music from iTunes a while ago and thus making my iPod obsolete. This device offers the solution - it plugs on to the pre-existing iPod connection, and if you are on Apple Music it will play perfectly from an iPhone (mine is an XR) and the music can be controlled through the head unit and also the steering wheel controls. Keeping the sound output low from the phone seems to maximise the sound quality, but it is at least as good as the hardwired iPod used to be.Problem solved - well worth the money.Car - Skoda OctaviaHead Unit - Bolero MP3 with dedicated iPod port fittede in the glove boxPhone - iPhone XR

Failed 3 months in.
Failed 3 months in. Does not connect to Bluetooth anymore, only get red light. Outside of return window so 80gbp down the drain. Very disappointed. Also doesnt show up as stereo device but as headphones, so constantly get "turn down volume for hearing safety" warning on phone. Avoid product.

Works with iPod connector in Jaguar XK/XKR
I bought this to connect to an iPod connector in a 2008 Jaguar XKR following reading on various Jaguar forums that there are only a few connectors that'll work. I have an iPhone so cannot speak for how easy or useful it is with an Android. This adapter does indeed connect to the iPod connector and to the Bluetooth in the car and play music well. Pairing is very straightforward, you just plug it into the iPod connector, switch to Aux on the entertainment unit and it'll show up on your phone Bluetooth list. There are a few niggles; if using Apple Music, the steering wheel controls will work fine and you can change track and increase the volume from the steering wheel (you can't press and hold to skip to a certain place within a track, only skip to the next or previous track). However, if playing music via Spotify, to enable me to switch the track via the steering wheel controls I have to open Apple Music first and switch track using the steering wheel controls with that before they'll switch tracks on Spotify. It's irritating but much less irritating than not being able to switch track at all. The unit also seems to force the entertainment system to re-set/re-start itself once in a while and crash every now and then, but I'm not sure if that's just mine being weird (switching the engine off, waiting 2 mins then switching it back on sorts it out) or whether it's a common issue. I've only had it for three days so I'll update this review as necessary. In short, it does work and let you change track using the steering wheel controls, but it's very expensive and has some niggles which are a bit annoying.

Works on db9
Worked instantly on the Aston Martin DB9 that already had the iPod connection built in. I can control the music and surprisingly the phone connection still worked with the car as I was previously connecting to the car’s Bluetooth setting. It’s expensive in my opinion however the value to get back to playing music and having phone calls wirelessly just outweighs it. It was easy to install: connect device the the iPhone 30 pin car audio cable, select iPod settings through the console and hey presto. Also, I’m glad I didn’t need to go to Aston Martin where I may have been charged eye watering money :)

Ok but no better than the Bovee
I bought this as the Bovee connector I had needs unplugging and resetting periodically and this said it didn’t - turns out it too needs resetting periodically - think the Bovee is better personally so this will go in a drawer as a back up

Bit Pricey but works perfect
I put this device in the slot in my golf mk5 2007 middle arm rest iphone 3 slot compartment. It works straight away and has very good sound quality. This device is way better than fm transmitter as that can sound fuzzy.
