Perfect!
Despite some reviews posted here, mine arrived in perfect condition without a crumb out of place. They were perfectly fresh and intact. I usually only have them over the holidays but i may start ordering them more often. Absolutely delicious!

A delicious tradition
Growing up in an Italian family, these Amaretti di Saronno cookies were always served at Christmas time. After dinner, out would come a bowl of mixed nuts and half a dozen silver colored nutcrackers, chestnuts that we'd score with knives and then roast, and these special treats. They were a tradition that my sister particularly enjoyed, and I try to get them for her every Christmas. Over the years they've become more challenging to locate, so I was excited to find them on Amazon - especially since I can have them shipped directly to my sister's home three states away! Two almond liqueur flavored cookies are wrapped "back to back" in each a pastel colored wrapper. They are light and crunchy, sweet and delicious. We loved them with milk when we were children, and now that we're older we think they pair even better with coffee. For us, these special treats bring back a flood of wonderful memories, but you don't have to be Italian to enjoy them.

Product arrived damaged, looking old and not presentable as gifts.
We bought the "Amaretti Originali" as gifts for the holidays. These are fragile Italian cookies that were not packaged with support, and so arrived with crumbs in the sealed containers, faded cookie wrappers, some cookies do not have wrappers in the sealed packaged, and just look like very poor quality that can not be given to a teacher as a gift. I wish there was a way to return them and cannot get in touch with either Amazon or the seller to discuss the situation. Really disappointed!

Love these!
If you've never had one, you're missed a light, sweet, crunchy bit of deliciousness. My parents used to bring these home from a restaurant in Little Italy. They're sweet in a bake shop kind of genuine way. Each wrapper has two cookies, so when you have your first there's one more to answer your "ooh, can I have another?!" Great gift item!

All cookies arrived broken and crumbled
The whole bag of cookies arrived in crumbs---I wanted and paid for whole cookies, not a box of crumbs. I have ordered these before and there has never been a previous problem.I want my order replaced with unbroken cookies, please

Very poor packaging
The cookies come in a cardboard box. The box was obviously crushed during delivery and half the cookies were reduced to crumbs. The ones that were not crushed were excellent.

A good peach recipe using Amaretti cookies
From Ned's wife: oh yum. What is not to love about Italian cookies? I used to make these so the store-boughten aren't as good. But still...better than no amaretti at all.For a summer dessert: cut peaches in half and remove the pits. Allow a whole peach per person. Put in buttered baking dish and sprinkle all with a mixture of brown sugar, melted butter, and peach brandy (or almond liqueur). For each peach half, unwrap an amaretto cookie and place in the depression. Put a small dot of butter on top of each cookie. Bake for about 10 minutes at 325. Take out and spoon the liquid over the peaches. Put back in for 5 min or so. When the peaches are soft but not falling apart, remove from oven and let cool to warm, or room temp. Serve two halves with a small amount of peach or french vanilla ice cream. Or simply use creme fraiche if that's your preference. For those who like pyrotechnics, cook them in a shallow flame proof dish. When ready to serve, add warmed brandy and set ablaze at the table (on a fireproof mat, of course). Mange! And then do the trick with lighting the wrappers, if it still works. I forgot to try it last time...
