This is not very tall. To use, the cat would needs to be seated—which is not a typical cat scratching position. It is also poorly balanced and falls over easily. The cat tried it a couple times and has not touched it since.

This is my cats go-to scratching post! She doesn't play with any of the toy parts of it, but she scratches on both the post and the curved areas of the unit. I had to use catnip to entice her to use the other scratchinh posts I have in the house, but this one she just naturally went to right away. I have this one near her food and water dishes and she seems to scratch on it either right before or right after eating. I've had it for a couple of months now. She has scratched on it daily, and it's still like new.

Instantly our kitten loved this scratching post and knew exactly what to do with it. The added feather features keep him engaged for long periods of time. The first one we received was warped in the mail. It did not stand level so when he would get on it to scratch it would rock making him feel unsteady.

I was so excited about the price and the look of this scratcher. It was really easy to put together. However it is a lot smaller than it looks in the picture. My cat is taller than it and it tips over easily. I placed it against a wall and that has kept it up. My cats don’t use it as much as they have others. I wouldn’t purchase again.

I liked this because it looked nicer than the standard carpet scratcher but its not sturdy enough. When the KITTENS try to jump up and scratch the post it wobbles and most of the time falls over which scares them and they run off. The quality is good and looks nice but its just not big enough or sturdy enough. The base needs to be much larger. If the base was the same just larger, it would also double as a little hiding spot which would be great.

My cat hates it but it's not the fault of the post. It's well made, I'm sure many cats would love it. Mine prefers to scratch a cardboard pedestal.

Really cute but falls over easily and the feather things on the side are pretty much useless. Mostly just for looks.

Tips over moderately easily. Great for the price though.
