It's easy to install and helpful when you have things to look for at night.while installing there is a wire that Is plugged in all by itself; with an end plug that looks like a sensor at the end. That's where you unplug it from and connect your bed light wire. Also, snap in to hold the wire with the truck frame hole.

1998 GMC SIERRA -I have bought 5 different 3rd brake lights and this is the only one yet to not have some type of problem right from the box. comes with backing pad for light. Isn't a bad idea to add a light touch of silicone to the back of any of these 3rd brake lights . 5 stars on brightness and looks good, smoke color isn't super lite or super dark probably what most are after in looks. 3 stars on the plug tho......FROM CHINNNNAAA! 45TH :)

I love the way it looks and i haven’t seen the brake light yet but the dome light is supper bright and allows me to see very well when doing some behind my truck at night

Fit into prexisting place on 96 f250. Plug and play only uses the wiring harness, no bulbs needed. Turns on white for bed when door opens, brake light shines. Only complaint it’s not 100% flush on underside but if you’re a perfectionist silicone will make it sealed. 5/5 aslong as it works for some years.

I replaced my Ram 1500 3rd brake light due to a leak that resulted in my headboard having water damage. I ordered this one because it had good reviews. I was cleaning my truck after over a year of having this brake light and noticed that the top part had completely faded and the bottom haven't. Worried since it has been over a year and no longer have the warranty option, I emailed the seller and they didn't reply at first, when they did reply after phone calls to their 800 number. The seller just gave a bunch of reasons why it faded, like it faded because it was outside in the sun! It's a third brake light, it sits outside in the sun!Update: After I emailed the seller to not send me a replacement even though it has been over a year. I got a new one today without hassle or charge! To be fair they did stand behind their product but I'm not sure I want remove the light and put the same one on. I had sealed the gasket with loctite silicone after the old factory gasket failed to keep the water out. We'll see how well these LEDs lasts, there have been reviews on here that the LEDs fail.

My Toyota dealer sells these for 99.00 (129.00) installed, (Seems to be standard price here in Western Canada) When i realized they only charged 30 dollars labor to install them I figured it could not be very difficult. I bought the OEM lights then saw these on Amazon for 40 dollars cheaper so I figured I would order these and compare the two before I installed them. They look 100 percent identical including the wiring harness and even the light orientation stickers so I took the ones back to the dealer and installed the ones from Amazon. It’s as simple as grabbing a 10mm socket wrench, taking out two screws, pulling out taillight and plugging these into the factory harness already installed. Total installation time for both completed by a guy that’s not that handy was a total of 15 minutes. Quality is great, fit is perfect and they are extremely bright. If you have a 20/21 Tacoma just look for the rocker switch to the lower left of your steering wheel that gives you the option of having cab lights turn on when door opened, turn off totally or turn on and stay on. If you have that switch then your truck is prewired for these lights and your install will be super fast. If you don’t have the rocker switch you would need to install one as well as a relay and I’m not sure how difficult that would be. All in all this is an awesome, perfectly made upgrade.

Easy to install, looks really nice, BUT not canbus compatible. Won’t cause vehicle to hyper flash though.
