Why I didn’t give this pair a 5 star.
I love all my Merrell’s and normally just slip them on and go. This pair seem to be a little bit bigger and looser than all my others. I do like the color but am afraid if they stretch out I’ll not be able to continue wearing them.

Love these shoes
But the most recent ones have smelled strongly of rubber tire. Has to leave them in the garage for a week.

Merrells are awesome!!
My doctor wears Merrells, his nurses wear Merrells, anyone I know who spends a lot of time on their feet LOVE Merrell. Support is terrific in almost every iteration - although I tend to love the clogs best. They also make a lot of technical shoes for runners, hikers, and climbers, so you should check those out as well.

Rare Q2 for those who find the Breeze 3 unwearable.
I have worn the Merrell Encore Breeze for years; I have probably owned at least 8 pair and usually have a 'good pair' and a pair for the garden or beach at any one time. Then a year or two ago they dramatically changed the shoe design with the Encore Breeze 3 and it is uncomfortable, stiff, poorer quality and narrow in the heel. I cannot wear it without blisters and have given away the ones I bought; I hope some homeless person at the shelter will find the brand new shoe comfortable for their foot. I don't have wide feet and am really disappointed such a comfortable shoe was redesigned for no good reason; a lot of reviews on line echo my experience. So I was thrilled to find someone who still has the Q2 an earlier design that fits perfectly. I can wear these for 10 miles on the pavements of Paris without foot issues. They are comfortable from the moment they go on; no breaking in required. They are well cushioned but don't look like athletic shoes. High fashion they aren't, but they are fine as basic walking shoes, especially with pants and of course easy at airport check in since they slide on and off. Great shoe and if you liked the Encore Breeze, grab these while they are still available.

Love this Encore Q2 Breeze clog!
This is my 3rd pair of this Merrell style: Encore Q2 Breeze clog. Size 8.5 Womens . Love it! Will order another pair. Not sure this Q2 style is continuing to be manufactured. I have mild arthritis and neuropathy issues in my 74 year old feet and Merrells are the majority of shoes in my closet. I also having a lace-up Merrell shoe for hiking and they are just as comfortable. I hope Merrell does NOT lower any quality standards. A happy senior trekker!

Very comfortable
I have had many pairs of these shoes in navy and black. Wore them to work during summers before I retired. I’m a retired nurse and they were the most comfortable shoes to wear. Not sure if I like this new color, but comfort is more important.

Love this shoe!!
I love this shoe! I usually wear size 9.5 wide width to accommodate problems w/ right foot due to injuries/ surgeries from a car wreck, also must wear shoes with good support & comfortable shoe base & heel ... Took a chance and purchased this shoe in blue in size 9.5 reg width as they didn’t have in wide... Glad I did as they are roomy & fit perfectly! It’s very light weight & very comfortable! I particularly like that the back of shoe has a low rise on the back of foot/ heel so its almost like a slip on clog. I had another pair of Merrill’s w/ low rise back/ heel, loved those & wore for several summers... My Merrill’s outwore the 2 pair of Skechers I’ve bought since then which I wore out in one summer! Merrill’s (& Clark’s) are my fav brands of shoes as they are well made, have good support & always comfortable! Hope this helps anyone trying to decide... Cheers!

Long wait ... width option not mentioned
It took weeks, weeks and weeks to receive my pair of Merrells. I don't usually buy wearable items online, because I can't try them for fit. But since I was buying with the info provided by my current pair of Merrells, I wasn't worried. Well, I should have worried, because the new Merrells came with a label giving not only the "Male/Female" and "Size", but also "Medium". This suggests to me that there are additional size options that I should have been made aware of, both by Merrells (one my current pair), and by the Amazon vendor. I shuold definitely have tried to get "Large" (i.e., "Wide"), because I can hardly get my feet into the new pair, and will have to find a way to stretch them, or wait until I'm 110 years old and somewhat shrunken to be able to wear them comfortably. Moral of my story? No more online purchases of wearables! Ask for an exchange? That would probably take a year!

Solid Shoe. Especially for Orthotic Inserts
Very well constructed shoe. I ordered these to fit my custom made orthotics. I have a significantly painful bunion and sore hips so was recommended indoor shoes to also use with an orthotic and these shoes save me a load of pain at the end of the day living in a hardwood flooring home. One thing however is it’s got quite some height to the heel and overall sole. Be warned that may take some getting used to again if you’re largely using the shoe for medical purposes as I do. Very comfortable shoe but can feel quite warm with a full orthotic despite the mesh top but tolerable.

Merrell shoe
The fit is perfect. I'm a women's 8.5 or 39 slightly on the narrower side. Wearing barefoot, my feet perspire. Not too happy with that, therefore the 4 instead of 5 stars. With socks that goes away... mostly. I purchased to wear as an indoor shoe and the comfort level is what I expected. A nice substitute for slippers with no arch support.

Not the quality they used to be!
I have been wearing Merrell encore breeze and similar for about 20 years. However, in this country it is very difficult tobuy them at a reasonable price. I see them on Amazon at £150 odd and to be honest with you, they are not worth that money. They used to be very hardwearing, the first pair I found lasted 3 years, being worn nearly every day .Nowadays, you are lucky if they last 3 months. A typical example of price going up and quality going down. I wear them because they keep my feet open to the air, I need this for comfort. I used to be able to buy winter and summer models, the winter ones were leather or suede and they kept my feet warm. Now, I cannot even buy them. From a very disappointed Merrell customer in England.

The Quality is not as it used to be
I have been wearing these slip on casuals for 15 years, and have always found them very comfortable. However, in the last two years, the quality of the shoe has declined, and they do not last as they used to.
