Nice, full-bodied, mellow honey
Love the mellow, well-balanced taste of this honey. With its neutral flavor, it works well for everything from toast-topping to tea-sweetener. But like other reviewers have mentioned, it arrived with the top of the cap broken off. As it's sealed inside, it didn't cause leakage during transit, but it's a bit of a bugger trying to get the cap back on, so I put store it in a plastic baggie for added protection.I cringed a bit at the "Made by American Bees" statement on the label. I'm happy to support American industry with my purchases, but I can do without the nationalistic marketing nonsense. "American bees" collect from plants possibly tainted by glyphosate, if that's something important to you. As Mexico has just banned glyphosate, I don't know that "American bees" (long may they thrive) can be claimed to produce a superior product. But this honey does taste good! I also buy a much larger vat of very good creamed honey from North Dakota, and though I don't know the natural traveling range of bees, personally, I have no problem if they take a little foraging buzz north of the border to Canada (where, sadly, glyphosate is the most commonly used herbicide). But, despite buying mostly organic products, I'm sure I've already got plenty of glyphosate, PFOAs, etc., already in my system, so when it comes to honey, I just go for the flavor!

Good honey but too expensive
This is the best tasting honey I have tried (except local fresh made) but it is too expensive. I buy it when I make homemade mead, but buy a cheaper honey for kitchen use

Where’s this honey been all my life. !
Nate’s California raw honey is a wonderful product. The taste is full bodied and rich. Stands up to my strong herbal tea. I really enjoy the complexity of flavor and the price doesn’t break the bank.Compared to much more expensive honey, this is my choice.Go for it !

Nature Nate Pure Raw and Unfiltered Honey
Dad was a beekeeper. As a teen, I worked in the bee yards and extracted tons of honey. I've got to taste many different kinds of honey. Most of the blends in most grocery stores taste as a committee might have blended them. Nature Nate's honey (California) tastes like it just came from the frame in the hive. Wow! In limited quantities, this stuff is good and good for you. Honey is pure fructose, after all, nearly pure carbohydrate, and a simple sugar at that. There is some evidence that one may eat a lot of it without it tripping the body's monitoring apparatus (full, sleepy, etc.) like sucrose (cane or beet sugar). Regardless, if you like it, want it, and need it, this is the real taste deal. I liberate the last bit in the bottle by opening the lid, placing the bottle in the microwave on its side for 10 seconds (ONLY) or less. Careful it's hot.
