What color should be the Natural Chemistry 5131 Pool Perfect Concentrate and Phos Free Pool Cleaner, 3-Liter?

I've used several bottles of the 3-liter PoolPerfect w/Phos Free and the color of the liquid has always been brown.

Can it be used in small pools like the Intex quickset pools? I'm in TX and our pool gets like bathwater.

Using this, what all else do I need? Does this eliminate the need for an algaecide and/or clarifier?

My pool is salt. I also have a mechanically run cover that keeps it very clean. I only use this and muratic acid. I find that pool stores push a lot of products that are not necessary. Like conditioner/cyanuric acid is only needed at very low levels to prevent chlorine loss.Research it and you'll see 2-20 is range to do its job...not 30-50 like pool companies recommend.
