Saved me from buying new curtains
Bought these because my bedroom curtain rings came away from the material. They weren't very expensive curtains but my window is an awkward size and had to have them altered. They are also the perfect colour to go with the room, so didn't want the task of finding new ones and having them altered. Felt a bit nervous taking all the other rings off the curtains but the removed easily. The new plastic rings are so easy to put on and look fantastic. They just clip together and done, just make sure that the material is all inside. We'll worth the money and alot quieter opening and closing them. I would definitely recommend these.

Easy To Use But Needs Instructions
After looking at a few YouTube videos and not really finding much turning gathered curtains into eyelet curtains (lots on making eyelet curtains from scratch). I decided to measure my original bedroom curtains and draw out the circles using the provided plastic template. If, like me you’re doing this on gathered curtains, take the gathering strings out and flatten the curtains at the top as much as you can. I used a sharp craft knife to cut out the circles, the backing was not easy to cut but I did cut through them with scissors from the back, don’t worry about sewing the edges they’ll be secure inside the eyelets (also known as grommets) just make sure you measure the spaces in between equally especially the outer edges and make sure they are the same distance from the top edge of the curtain so they hang well. Measuring, marking out the circles and cutting them is the worst part, putting the eyelets on is easy and quick as they snap into place. One tip make sure you only put in even eyelet numbers as you will end up with one end not folding over nicely on the curtain rod (eg don’t mark out 13 mark out 12 more spaced out) at the ends measure half the space away from the outer edge from the next eyelets. Be aware your curtains will be higher now on the curtain pole so your curtains will be around 1.5 inch shorter, we lowered our pole but you don’t have to if they’re not full length. I’ve added some photos to show you what I did, I hope that’s helpful to you.

Easy to use
I’ve never made eyelet curtains before, in fact I avoid making curtains if I can! I did use the info provided on You tube and professional curtain makers websites, anyone can do it if I can. It saved a huge amount of money, especially since I hand finished hems and headings. I used the existing curtain poles and these eyelets fitted the larger pole well. I was very nervous about cutting the holes for the eyelets, my fabric was quite thick and had a thermal lining. It was also expensive so it was SCARY. I didn’t get a template with my first order (underestimated how many eyelets I’d need remember you must have an even number of eyelets for each curtain) I just drew round the inside of the first eyelet. I did have to enlarge the hole, because I was being cautious, with small scissors, but the eyelet clipped in very easily. With the second batch I did get a template and by cutting just within the circle I got a better fit. I am very pleased with the finished curtains, they have an inner ring which glides smoothly and noiselessly over the metal pole. My only caveat is that the eyelets are plastic so when putting the curtains on the pole some eyelets did scratch however since they are never actually seen ‘flat on’ this damage is not really visible. Although my poles were antique brass gold I chose the darker brass so they are not too shiny and are much more subtle againgst the fabric.

Really good product and looks fabulous
I took my time before I plucked up the courage to start and watched a couple of YouTube videos beforehand. Was simple to use with the guide to mark where to make the circles. Just need to work out spacing equally and make sure you use an even number per curtain. Also ensure that the parts are fully clipped together.
