Asus ZenFone ZC600KL Case, Zenfone 5Q Dual Layer Rubber Armor Hard Plastic PC + Soft TPU Shockproof Protective Case for Asus ZenFone 5 Lite zc600kl Phone Case 6.0 Inches (Navy Blue)

There are very limited options when it comes to cases for the Zenfone 5Q/lite, but they are all fairly cheap and reviews are lacking. I bought this and one other case to try cases since they were both under $10 each. I've been using this case for about 2 1/2 months. I like the 2 piece design, I feel it is better protection in a fairly slim design. The fit is snug and will not come off accidentally, but not so tight that I had any trouble taking it off if needed. The cutouts and buttons line up exactly and there is a slight lip around the screen to protect it if laid upside down (on a flat surface) and works just fine with the screen protector in place. The volume and power buttons are stiff and take some extra pressure to use which was only a slight annoyance for me, but might pose a problem for some. They are not the "click" style buttons (my preference) as you find on other cases, but they are functional. The outer material is stiff and soft to the touch, un-textured, and can get slippery at times but is great when putting it in my back pocket. It does smudge more easily than I expected. It is apparent that the color on the outer shell, which is a dark navy blue, was added later - there was a large white spot on the inside and scratches show white underneath (see attached pics). It has done a great job of protecting my phone during drops when it has fallen out of my purse or pocket on various floor types, no damage. For the money, this has been a good case so far. I would definitely recommend it.

This case fits well and looks really nice, but I found that the inner layer was quite stiff - it made the buttons hard to push. I have an almost identical case for another phone and the inner layer is much softer and the buttons click easily. This case seems to be good quality and would be great for someone who doesn't mind the extra effort clicking the buttons.

It does its job and it's not too bulky. Decent cheap case.

Has sturdy, but not bulky protective case with an attractive , non-slip this cover. The ON button is a little hard to push, but I'll trade that for the protection and slim line features.

Great case. There are not many for the 5q. I am very pleased. Good quality and fits perfect. Speedy delivery with prime.perfect.

Outer cover cracked and threw it away. Inner cover maybe sufficient to protect from drops.
