Yes, hoses are included! I would not advise that you waste your money on this item! I am very disappointed that it does NOT work as shown in this pic. There are others with the same concept that work and are more durable. In my opinion this one is pure JUNK!

How many square does they cover

Garbage...dont waste your money..lasted 1 week before breaking.. Weak with 3 heads, works better with 2...spray head that works best for most coverage is located in line with house inlet/oulet so must be positioned down length of hose and therfore not along flowerbed covering less distance. Great idea poor design.

Can this system attach directly to an existing hose or does it have to be directly connected to the spigot

Both. It can be attached to an existing hose, or to the spigot

Can I get a replacement hose/sprinkler head?

I don't know but I took the sprinkler heads off as they really didn't sprinkle as far out as I would've preferred. My opinion is that you are better off simply buying one a good sprinkler head and attaching it to a good hose.
