This heating pad is exactly like ones I've purchased from two other brand names. That said, it's a good one. With 6 different heat setting options, it has a good range, depending on my current need. I use heating pads quite a bit, and this is a favorite. The option to be able to disable the auto-off feature is the main reason for purchasing this one (under any of the company brands it is sold under). Unlike a similar heating brand from a different, popular brand, this one (and any others with the exact same controller as this one), the controllers for these have never melted on me -- a big plus.The extra-large size is another reason I use these pads over others. Although it has nothing to do with the function of the pad itself, these pads sold under Tizio come in fun colors. Nothing says one's heating pad should look boring. I plan on getting the pink one soon as a backup and/or just to switch between the two to match my outfits. :)Just a side note, at times, if the auto-off is disabled, it seems the heat level goes down a bit. This may or may not be a built-in safety feature, or it could just be my body getting used to the heat level (which is why I won't take a star away). Either way, turning it off for a few minutes and turning it back on will set the heat back to what it should be for whatever level you desire/need. I have found this to be the case, no matter which brand name it's sold under.

Stopped working before 3 year mark and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get it replaced under warranty. Help!

We are very happy with the product so far. It's a bit bizarre and puzzling why previous reviewers decided to comment mostly about liking the purple color (yeah, it's nice but c'mon, who cares?!), when there are so many more important features and benefits to cite. First, it IS actually a bit bigger (longer) than many cheaper heating pads. Secondly, there are six heat settings (double the usual three on many other models) and you can definitely feel the difference between settings. It heats up very quickly too. The electrical cord is longer than on many other pads and also it is detachable. In addition, the control is located close to the pad ... easy to reach. On the control, there are buttons to select either the "stay on" mode or an automatic shut-off after two hours, which is also convenient and an LED light tells you which mode is active. The pad is machine washable -- nice. The instructions are thorough and easy to understand. So there is a lot to like about the product, it is very well-designed, and as long as it keeps working great for a considerable length of time, we will be very happy with it. We bought two ... a his and hers.

First of all, 12” X 24” is not XL in my opinion.Keeping that in mind, it does what it is supposed to do. It is flexible due to much smaller wires that run through it. It hits the spot perfectly for your lower back. I have also used it for my hands and wrists. It wraps around easily and keeps the heat concentrated in that spot.Just as an aside, this is one of the few purple items I have ever purchased from Amazon that is really the same color as the photo. I love the color purple, but only the deep regal shade of purple that leans a bit more towards blue than red. I hate pastel purple like lavender or lilac. This item is really my kind of purple.

It worked for a year and a half and then died like all my heating pads do. I had a heating pad in the 90s that my gma gave me and it lasted me 15 years before I had to replace it, now I have to buy a new one every year. I chose this one bc of the 5 year warranty but when I contacted the company they said it was $12 for shipping. That's half the cost of the heating pad and more money than first class shipping. I'm disabled and depend on having a heating pad to treat muscle and joint pain and have been incapacitated this past week without it. I'm on a v fixed income and don't have $12 in the bank to even get the replacement sent to me. The warranty is basically uselessalso every time I turned on the heating pad it would heat up to the highest setting (6) before going down to the setting I chose, usually 1 or 2 to start with. It got so hot it hurt my skin

This heating does not have a washable cover, but is machine washable itself (follow the instructions given). It's a fuzzy soft that is comforting, and the extra width is nice-- especially for menstrual cramps, or grumpy hamstrings, or tension-headache-inducing-shoulders.Heat levels 1 thru 6. 2hr auto-shutoff. The digital display only backlights when you're pressing a button so no glow in a dark bedroom. It has a red-dot power indicator light that is steady when on, slow-blink when it has auto-shutoff, and off when you manually turn off the heating pad.

I bought this heating pad for my husband and he loves it! It is soft and hot. The controls work well and it has multi settings and different time settings. The only thing is he wishes it was a little bigger

Update*****The seller Tizio finally contacted me and they are sending me 2 free replacement heating pads at no charge. I am changing my review from one star to 3 because I appreciate the customer service and them getting back to me to make this right. We will see how long these new heating pads last. ***** I just bought this heating pad FOR THE SECOND TIME in October, because the one I bought in February stopped working. It's now January, and this one has already stopped working. I have contacted the company with no response from them and these heating pads supposedly have a 5 year warranty. It's a great heating pad when it works, which is why I bought a second one, I really thought it was just a fluke that it stopped working. But now the second one quit too, so I'm convinced now that they are junk. It would be great if Tizlo would contact me and replace these broken pads or give me my money back so I can buy one that works.
