most will enjoy the difference in extra light output
pretty bright. endpage suggested i not use these for my cargo lights on rear cab of pickup. they claimed too bright. lol.... there not. there not THAT bright. but there better then average.the other 2 i used for reverse lights. meh.. depends what you consider bright. 6k color temp yes nice bright white light. better than yellow ugly stocks.

Best for reverse lights
These work great for back up lights because they are very bright and they are a little too long to fit in most light assemblies. I first installed them as the cargo lights on the back of the cab but they were touching the lens of the light once installed. I moved them to the back up lights and they fit fine.

Installed these on my Durango with tinted lights. I expected these to be really bright even through the tint.

Very Bright
I installed the 1156 bulbs on the rear turn/running lights and the 1157 bulbs on the front turn/running lights of my 2007 Harley Davidson Road King. These are the final LED lights that have been added to my motorcycle. I bought Sunpie LED headlights and spotlights here on amazon.com a while ago. These bulbs made my turn/running lights much more bright. The lights flashed quickly the first time I pressed the turn signal switch, but, slowed down to regular speed after the second press of the switch. I guess the computer learned the change. I believe having bright lights makes me more visible. I hope to never get hit by a car or truck.
