I wasn’t really sure what to expect out of steaming my carpet, but sometimes I don’t want to pull the big shampoo machine out. I used this to take care of a medium sized dog poop accident on the carpet. Overall it did a pretty good job. I don’t think it’d ever use this to do ALL of my living room but definitely for any minor accidents.My only dislike about this glider is the big cover in the center. I feel like it’s covering half of it and more steam is getting pushed back up instead of down to the carpet. Just a little design flaw that could make cleaning the carpet more efficient.

The carpet glider might have value to clean pet spots or liquid spills or maybe to refresh a carpet....i used the carpet glider to test refresh a carpeted area...I put Mr. Clean on the cleaning pad just to try it out...you might use white vinegar or Pine Sol, or anything on the steamer cleaning pad to deodorize or spot clean a spill (BUT never put cleaners into the water well of the steam mop itself.). The carpet glider would never replace a serious carpet cleaner....the steam mop itself is fairly useful on my tile floors, but i usually vacuum first because the steam cleaner itself doesn't do a good job of picking up particles...it mostly just pushes them around.So I give the steam mop and carpet glider as a pair...3 1/2 stars. For the price it works ok. Since I have both I will use them as needed.

I do have a few rugs, I gave it a try... Didn't do anything. This is an add-on feature I could have done without. I believe it's a smarter choice to spend on an extra pad instead. This did not work for me, so I would not recommend this product to anybody.

Not worth the buy. It is a plastic piece that holds up the steamer, so steam can barley spray on the ground.

Just received this mop. In 6 years and many steam mops my floors have never been this clean. It is actually cleaner than when I got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the floor. Absolutely love it.

I like the ease of using this attachment. It meets all my expectations. I hihly recommed!
