I bought this for an individual who has trouble reading he is not very technical either. I showed him how to work it and he picked it up very fast. It will open up a whole new world for him since he now can scan books and documents and here it read to him. I highly recommend this. Also, it translates and saves your document. And you don't have to have it hooked up to the Internet or even use a cell phone. Excellent product. He was amazed and excited to get it and was impressed how easy it worked. Also he had no idea these products even existed. He would go all the way 50 miles to the library and use their reading machine which definitely was a inconvenience. Also you can talk to it in English and it will translate it to the desired language you want and then the person can press a button speak their language and it will translate it and speak to you in English. Just a great overall product

There’s a few things that make this item very unique and that is the ability to be portable and compact to even fit in your pocket and it looks like a regular pen. I love that I was able to pull out my Chinese dictionary and it was able to read everything on the page. Because it was dictionary, I knew how accurate it was depending on what it read back to me. There’s a few things with translator items that I definitely feel like need to be improved regardless of the company. With this translator, you have to click the exact language in order to decipher what is said. I feel like you should be able to click a button and because it’s a translator it should tell you which language it is and decipher it there on the spot. This will make it easier for those that don’t know the language, the person is speaking and be able to help assist them in whatever question they have. It’s very easy when you know the language and you’re able to select it but keep in mind if it takes too long for you to click a lot of things it makes it harder to communicate with someone. There should be one side button, not clicking the up or down button. Sometimes it was hard for it to , be exact science and click the exact button, but in the long run, even though it took a little bit of time it still translated what they said. There were a lot of languages that you could select from, but I also hated that you had to have the Internet readily available, which may not always be the case. it’s a great idea and it works pretty well, but I feel like there are a lot of ways of improvement

I bought this pen for my dyslexic daughter to use in college - in testing before she left we found that the voice is terrible. The voice is 1980's quality, robotic - not clear or smooth to aid in understanding. Returning the pen to find something better suited for text to speech.

The media could not be loaded.  I've been using this translator pen for a while, and it's been a lifesaver for my family. My mom doesn't speak much English, so she takes it to her doctor appointments, and it has made a world of difference for her. The best part is its ability to scan any language and translate it right away, speaking it out loud. It's so much easier than trying to type everything into a phone.I've tried the Chinese to English translations, and they're pretty accurate, which is really reassuring. You can also speak to it, and it translates your words into the language you choose, which is such a cool feature. With so many languages supported, it covers almost everything I need when traveling internationally.I'm planning a trip to Thailand soon, and I'm thinking about borrowing this pen from my mom or maybe getting another one for myself. As someone who travels internationally all the time, this pen is incredibly practical and a must-have for anyone needing a reliable translation tool on the go!

The pen is easy to use. However, the pen will not connect to iPhone either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The voice translator must be connected to the Wi-Fi to use. This can be a major inconvenience in a household or on the street if you do not have access to Wi-Fi. I was very disappointed in the pen.

This product is simply to use. Screen is wide enough to operate and the menu is clear. Translate feature is fast and accurate. One of the best devices to create text files of the language you scan. Highly recommend.
