I'm hoping this says 5 Stars! I'm only seeing 4 in yellow/gold. I could not be happier with this purchase! I unfortunately lost my other one, when we lost our home in the hurricane. This one is a bit different, but I think that I actually like it better. It comes with a lot of blades. They say that you get 8 weeks of blades, but in actuality you really get a lot more! You use this I would say maybe every 3 months. So, if you use it every 2 1/2-3 months (like I seem to be doing) and you are receiving 8 blades, for me I have enough blades for 2 Years, which is SO worth it! Considering the alternative & going to a spa and paying anywhere around $200-$350 for just 1 service, it is a no-brainer! Completely worth the $$$! Definitely not something that you have to do or even want to do too often. I personally wait until my hair is visible again on my face, or if I have some type of Party or event. Just a Warning if you have never had dermaplaning done- you want to give yourself LITERALLY a couple of weeks, if it's your 1ST time. I have sensitive skin & my face stayed red & peeled for at least 3 weeks! That was the ONLY downside of dermaplaning, but that is just a given. It really does not matter if you use this or go to an esthetician, if it is your first time you are just going to see some type of irritability, it's just inevitable. Bright side, you only have to go through that ONCE! Thank God! It's super easy to use & it has 3 settings. I think that I have only charged mine once. Actually, this will be my second time using this specific one. The charge lasts you for a while, which makes it very convenient. And it can totally be travel-size as well. I might take mine on a trip that's upcoming because I have told my family & friends about it. Blades are super easy to attach too! You do not even have to touch the blade!Probably one of the smartest Purchases that I have made when it comes to anything cosmetically speaking! If you are debating about it, BUY IT NOW! There is NO way that you are going to regret it! I'm in my late 40's & as many women know, all of a sudden, we start to see peach fuzz. NOT cool! I have never had any issue until my late 40's & this thing is just great in so many ways! Why did you pick this product vs others?:Michael Todd beauty is known for its quality and innovation. I have to admit I was a little bit afraid of using a device like this at home. However, the sonic smooth has a unique safety blade that prevents you from shearing your skin or causing micro tears which can lead to irritation or even infection. I didn’t have any irritation whatsoever. My skin felt so incredibly soft this device not only removes the peach fuzz that we wanna get rid of, but it also exfoliate our skin which helps in your skin appearance. I found another added benefit is that the exfoliation helps your skin care to absorb better into the skin making it even more effective and my make up has never looked smoother on my skin. I would highly recommend sonic smooth to anyone who thought about using a dermaplaning system at home it’s truly beginner friendly. And last but not least this is cost-effective. These types of treatments at salons are very expensive. The sonic smooth comes with eight blades. That’s eight weeks worth of treatments. I’m truly happy with this purchase the sonic smooth is a 10 out of 10.
