This is the third unit purchased in the last month. The first broke down, the second was as noisy as a cement mixer, but this one is excellent. It delivers good output, whilst being very quiet. Only time will tell re its longevity, but so far, so good.

A nice little pump quiet powerful but it's so noisy even with a sponge underneath it

i've got two of these for my both my fish tanks, one with a sponge filter & one without. they both started off pretty quiet but over a few days one of them has got a lot louder (which sucks.. switched my old filter to a sponge filter because it was too loud and now this one is just as loud.. 🤦‍♀️), however the other has stayed quiet, but still shouldn't be advertised as silent. other than that good for the price, works well and keeps my fish happy

This little pump works well and produces a good amount of air, enough for me to run 4 micro sponge filters on it even.But that volume is coming at a cost. The pump motor is not very stable, which cause some noise and movement, and once it wiggled around enough to have a found a surface to resonate against, better cover your ears. the imbalance is enough to even get the airline to rattle a little if it is not the softest silicon.The first time this happened was when it actually fall over on the floor. with it being a hard wood floor, the noise was loud but easily resolved. When it happened again a few hours later, it had found a cupboard... Some foam (coarse filter media) delivered a solution.. or so I thought..Imagine the hunt I had a week or so later when at 3 am it sounded like a someone was drilling holes in the walls..Only to realise after a good bit of hunting and with a clearing brain fog.. it was the mighty pump..As I have MTS I have since invested in a much bigger, more stable and quieter pump and the little guy is now only used when I need to have a quick quarantine tank setup..Anyway, if you can have it running in a little padded case or something, (and also make sure the cables have a way to get ride of the vibration) it will last and produce lots of air.. but most people might want to look at a different product.

Air flow great but found it really noisy

This item worked well when we received it but 5 weeks after purchase it wasn't working. We checked to ensure there were no blockages in the tubing etc but still didn't work. Unfortunately we could not return it for a refund as it was a couple of days after the 30 day return limit.
