I am a church leader in the UK so this was of considerable interest. This pack of discussion cards is a mix of questions that can be used in a group context but there are definitely ones that should only be used for a couple alone. All of them are structured well for a Christian context with reference to the Bible and Biblical characters to give some background. There are four categories: icebreakers, couple topics, interpretations, and stories. There is no doubt that the publisher's aim is that it would inspire couples to get to know God better within the context of sharing life together in love and respect. These questions help to build those relationships by promoting positive discussion. The cards are high-quality print on glossy cards and there are 103 questions to discuss. Some could result in radical but positive life changes. Like this card "What are our greatest strengths as a couple? What is the one thing we need to work on?" For two people who have a genuine Christian faith and are in a marriage or relationship, these cards are a great way of developing your relationship.Deep discussions don’t always just happen spontaneously. These cards are a fun way of exploring feelings, ideas, ambitions, hopes and aspirations.Some of the questions are simple, others delve more into the relationship, whilst others explore bible verses and their relevance to your life and marriage. I would feel free to select the ones that suit you best and are non-threatening. Not everyone enjoys exploring “feelings”, but everyone likes to tell you about their happy memories or funniest situation.My husband and I, who have been married for a long time, always enjoy quizzes etc when we dine out. These cards will add a new dimension to our table discussions! They introduce subjects that we, in all our years together, have never talked about spontaneously.Can’t wait.

These are just great. We have used them now for around three weeks. Not every day, but frequently, we also took some of the less person question cards to church when we did the church coffee and asked people in the queue for their opinions.For us the questions were meaningful and gave an opportunity to explore issues that we may have shied away from, they also gave verses and thought to reflect on. We have and are still enjoying using these cards as conversation starters - knowing the authors are starting in roughly the same place as us. Recommended.
