Best Prices
Amazon is the only place my wife buys her blades for grooming. Never have we had an issue with a blade being broken, dull, or damaged in anyway. I will never pay in store price for these. I highly recommend getting your blades here.

Bought for thick coated poodle
Never had something to groom my golden doodle. After dropping over 200 bucks to have her groomed and not wanting to spend over $1500 a year, I figured to buy a quality grooming tool. I tried to use the number 10 blade a few times and it really did nothing. So I did a little research and bought this number five blade. Oh my Lord, what a game changer, it goes through her thick matted hair like butter. If you have a very thick coated dog, please don’t waste your time on the original factory blades. Buy this number five, and you will be a very happy person.

Steel, not ceramic blade.
Steel blade, not ceramic as I had thought. However it is sharp and working well so far. Though, I’ve only used it a few times. O

Excellent Clipper Blade versus comb set
I started clipping our poodle a year ago. Started with a low cost ( $35 +/- ) cordless electric Clipper + snap on combs. Don't go there! Poor cutting and constant hang ups with combs. I finally upgraded to a corded $140 electric clipper. HUGE improvement in cutting, but still problems with clip on combs. I then decided to try a much "thicker" actual blade, the 5FC blade - for a 1/4" cut. It cuts thru curly poodle hair beautifully without hangups. Much easier on both the dog and me. I ordered a 2nd identical 5FC blade so I can swap out blades when they get too warm. Cool the warm one on our ceramic tile, and keep rotating blades. These "thick" blades come in other dimensions, so no need for clip on combs for shorter cut styles. Highly recommended!!!
