Amazing book - the book has a feel, a smoothness to it the pages ( what I have read so far) are beautifully printed on really good quality thick paper with vivid colours and pictures - I struggle to read but this book is easy to read.

Wonderful book. Bought for my daughter for her 11th birthday as she loved the film. There is lots of information and plenty of good quality photographs.

This is a lovely coffee-table book filled with stunning artwork and photographs from the film. The superficial text doesn’t add much to the experience though but the photos more than make up for it.

Love the Film, love the Soundtrack, now love the Book.

Superbe livre de 190 pages, rédigé en anglais, sur du papier glacé de qualité. La préface est signée par Michael GRACEY, le réalisateur.Les photos choisies pour retracer l’histoire, sont toutes sublimes, appuyées par des textes très détaillés qui viennent expliquer les décisions prises pour la préparation et la production de cette œuvre magique sur grand écran.On retrouve tous les acteurs principaux, de Hugh JACKMAN à Keala SETTLE, qui nous replongent dans les moments importants de la création de ce film musical hors normes. Les textes des chansons, sont également compris, ce qui nous remémorent instantanément les plus belles séquences interprétées par des comédiens/chanteurs de grand talent.Enfin, une section concernant la création des décors et la mise en place des effets spéciaux complète idéalement ce bouquin, afin de mieux en comprendre les coulisses de ce film merveilleux et unique, qui n’a malheureusement pas trouvé son public en France, injustement descendu par une critique élitiste, qui lui reproche de ne pas avoir rendu un biopic réaliste. Précisément, car ce n’est pas une biographie, mais un spectacle grandiose, servi par des chorégraphies exceptionnelles et qui procure une intense émotion. Manifestement, le spectateur se révèle le plus à même d’en juger. Le livre lui rend justice.

I am very impressed with this book. It is colorful, has great insight on how the creators developed the characters. I also liked the pages that had the lyrics to the songs. It mentioned scenes that were deleted from the production and I liked the pictures of the characters in the old time black and white setting. I would have liked to have seen more on the inspiration from real life people that were apart of the circus.

Questo libro è semplicemente meraviglioso proprio come il film, e assolutamente imperdibile per chi ha amato la storia, le musiche e la magia di The Greatest Showman.Un nuovo viaggio alla scoperta del dietro le quinte di questo capolavoro cinematografico, con tante interviste agli attori protagonisti, al regista, bozzetti inediti e concept art sulle scene viste al cinema, e non solo, e tantissime curiosità sulla storia del celebre uomo che inventato il circo.
