The perfect piece to start your home gym
I am SO happy with this rack! It is relatively inexpensive, but the quality is really good! Sure, it’s not built to handle commercial gym traffic, but for me, it is perfect! It’s set up in my garage with 8 foot ceilings. I am 5’8” tall and I have never come close to hitting my head at the top of a pull up. And the bar height Is absolutely perfect for me! This is by far my favorite purchase of 2024 because it has enabled me to reclaim some of my health and strength!!I absolutely love the pullup bars! Look around… it’s really hard to find a decent half rack with a nice set of multi grip bars… and these are perfect! I use all of the variations. And I like the dip bars too! They are padded just enough to be comfortable on the hands and even soft enough to support myself on my forearms and do leg lifts.Once you have weight on the rack (I have a 280 lb bumper set), it does not really move around. But even before I had weights on it, the rack is sturdy enough that I was always satisfied. It does have holes at each corner leg to bolt it to the floor (hardware for that not included), but for me this would be overkill and not necessary. If you ever want to move this rack, just take all the weights and accessories off, and it’s not that heavy to simply pick up or slide around.I also use the barbell hanging hooks that are included: one holds a barbell and the other I hang belts and bands from. The posts that hold the plate weights are interesting. They are 1” diameter metal posts, but you can slip a 2” diameter plastic sleeve over it to accommodate Olympic standard plates. I was skeptical at first of these posts but they are holding my 2” weights no problem, and so far up to 95 lbs per post with no visible bending or damage of any components. So yeah, functional storage on this baby too!My barbell knurling does scratch off the red paint of the j-hooks, but I just try not to bump them too hard and who cares anyway. In summary, you should buy this and start busting out some sets.

Love it
This half rack is the real deal. Gives you the best bang for your buck, which in this case is how many exercises can be done with just this single rack. It’s pretty easy to put together only took about an hour if you have your own tools. This rack is super sturdy i mean once you got it bolted up, it can definitely take the weight. I got this one because the main rack is 1 solid steel post on each side. The cheaper racks had the main posts split into two cheap steel posts which is not as sturdy as these solid posts racks. All in all, would buy again.

It comes with BOTH J-hooks and spotter arms!
I spent a long time reading reviews and carefully deciding which rack was right for me, because I knew returning it would be almost impossible. I went with this one and I think I made the right choice. This is a solid rack. It's high quality and looks nice. I chose this one for its compact design, the fact that it has both a pull-up bar and bars for doing dips, hooks to store two barbells and ample storage space for weight plates. It also comes with both J-hooks and spotter arms. I noticed that some of the racks in this price range didn't come with spotter arms. They have to be purchased separately. As a bonus the J-hooks and spotter arms have a thick rubber padding so the barbell isn't hitting metal on metal when you put it down. The shipping was fast and the box wasn't missing any parts. The box is pretty big - see my picture of it next to a standard door frame. It weighs over 100 lbs. It took about two and a half hours to assemble the rack. Just pay attention when assembling the curved brackets that store the weight plates. You can store the weights on either the outside or on the inside of the frame depending on how you install these. The only thing I don't like is the dip bars might be a little wider apart than I would like them to be, but it's not a deal-breaker. I bought it with the $40 off coupon. There are other racks out there that use heavier gauge metal and have more options, but for the price it's a great deal and I believe worthy of a five star rating.

Solid Home Gym Rack
I love this product. I bought it due to its weight capacity, storage, adjustability, dip bar, and multi-position pull up bar. I’ve used this for a few month in my home gym and it performs as expected. I store about 300lbs of Olympic plates on it and have room for more when I need more.It does move slightly when re-rack after squats but since I’m not 100% certain of my final gym layout, I’ve not bolted it to the ground. When I do that I expect it wont move at all. Keep in mind that I am not a power lifter but lift for fitness and functional strength. The one thing missing on this rack was a hook for my battle rope. You will see I’ve welded a hook to the lower front bar. I could have bolted it in by drilling some holes and purchasing bolts but I like welding and thought it would be a good test to the quality of the steel. I was able to weld it without burning through. It’s solid. All and all, I expect this rack will last as long as I need it. It’s solid for my fitness needs, has great options, was easy to assemble, is easy to adjust while working out, and I recommend it.
