The media could not be loaded. This pen uses a low-frequency electrical charge that is designed to trigger your body’s natural defence mechanism against pain. Compared to a normal TENS machine it does not need any leads, pads or gels which makes it portable.It was £32.89 when purchased, no batteries or charging required so will never let you down when you need it.I originally got it for my mother who has extreme knee pain. Initially she thought it was providing some relief but after some weeks of use the effects did not resolve her pain.However, my dad also has knee pain and she suggested he try it and he felt it really did help him. So from this it seems it may or may not work but for the price it may be worth the gamble.It is shaped like a pen and you hold it on skin and simply click the button down. This action may be difficult for some if you have problems with arthritis in hand or joint problems as you do need to click down with a little more force than you would a writing pen.It can also be used through thin clothing if desired which means your modesty is protected when out and about.I tried it myself out of curiosity on my hand and to be honest I found it a little weird. I can’t explain the mechanics but it was like a pin prick with a shock attached. Not really my thing it was too unnerving for me personally. It did leave a small mark but this disappears after a short time.

The gadget is a manual clicker to provide a small electric shock where it is positioned. Like those little mini pain relief gadgets for stings. The problem is that the gadget button is stiff to press and when you do it gives your hand an electric shock. When I tried to return it was ineligible for returns (though showing as eligible within the timeframe) and when I tried to return as defective the page just took me to trouble shooting pages with no option for a refund.. I went through Amazon chat to gain a refund and recommended others who find it of no use do the same. Or better still don’t buy it. It is completely overpriced and there are far better products out there.

Only used it once, was difficult to use on hip as I couldnt twist and so was unable to press.I then lost it, whoops.
