Easy to use and does the job...almost too quickly
I bought this to remount the mirror in my 2010 F150. I had to purchase a second pack because, like and idiot, I mounted it upside down the first time - even after taking extra precautions to make sure it was oriented correctly too. Oh well. One thing to note, there is no "adjusting it into position" after it's in place. Once you touch the mirror mount button to the windshield it sticks pretty much instantly.Other than that mishap the glue works well and is easy to use. It comes with everything you need to do the job other than a blade to scrap off any old glue. The instructions are good and if you follow them you should have no problems...well as long as you have the mount in the right direction that is !! The entire process takes maybe five minutes.Note: If you do happen to make a mistake, you can remove the mount buy heating it up. I used a long igniter and it took only a few minutes for it to come loose...so I could go at it second time.

Easy to use!
After some of the reviews I was a little concerned that this wouldn't work.It works great!Tips:Mark the top of the "mirror mounting button". (Red arrow in photo points to mirror mounting button) When you re-install the mirror mounting button it is important that it is right side up and the smooth side faces the windshield. The second photo shows the obverse side of the mirror mounting button. This is the side that I see after I install the mirror mounting button.Separate the mirror mounting button from the mirror. It is either plastic or metal. You will need to find instructions for your vehicle in your favorite search engine. Sometimes it is a "set screw". On my vehicle (Chevy S10) it is a spring loaded friction mount. I firmly pressed a small screwdriver into the lower left slot and the mirror mounting button slipped right out. I did bend the spring back out a little so that it would grip the button firmly. It is tempting to leave them together but you won't be able to hold the mirror stationary and it will fall off.Put a piece of tape on the outside of the windshield in the position where the mirror mounting button was located before it fell off. You will use it to position the mirror mounting button.Clean clean clean. Make sure that the windshield and mirror mounting button are clean and smooth. I used a paint scraping tool (razor blade) to gently remove the old glue from the windshield and get smooth surface on the mirror mounting button.Follow the directions on the package. The temperature of your windshield and the mirror mounting button are important. The little envelope is an alcohol swab. It helps clean residue from windshield and mirror mounting button.I installed mine in the afternoon about 70F in the vehicle and let it set overnight. In the morning I slid the mirror back onto the mirror mounting button. It is still mounted.Cheers

Didn't Last
I glued the plug to the windshield at 8 pm. I attached the review mirror at 8 am. The mirror fell down that afternoon.I filed the plug to make sure all the glue from the prior application was removed and cleaned it up with triple XXX steal wool. I scrapped the old glue off the windshield with a new razor blade, cleaned the window with the pad provided, and cleaned the plug with the pad. I put two drops of the glue on the plug and held it in place for two minutes.I purchase another, unknowingly from the same manufacture. It was promised on Thursday. It's Saturday and no delivery. Not having a review mirror is concerning.

Very Effective!
I purchased this adhesive because the tension between my rearview mirror and its mount was low due to wear and tear. It worked within minutes, is firm and adds great security for this area in my SUV. Very nice purchase.

Adhesive strength is impressive, but . . .
Very good adhesive strength, but to avoid risk of breaking off the button, I removed a few thousandths from the back of the button and a couple of thousandths from each side of the button. There are two types of mirrors. One type has a spring steel clip that clings so tight to the sides of the button that you may risk breaking off the button as you try to push the mirror on. The other type of mirror has a set screw that tightens the mirror to the button making the installation more reliable. The mirrors are about $26 from Amazon.

Buy this one
Whatever you do, make sure you know exactly where you want the mirror button on the windshield. If you follow the directions exactly (with a magnifying glass to read them), you'll have about 5 seconds to align it exactly where you want it. Mine's crooked, but it's definitely on there. Get some 400 grit sandpaper and a flat surface and sand the old button (or a new one) to roughen it up a bit and clean off any residual adhesive. This is the third brand I tried, and it worked. The other didn't hold long enough to tighten the screw on the mirror.

Easy to apply, didn't last for me
Smooth to apply, no issues. Bonded well. The bad is it only lasted about 4 months. Mirror fell off again.
