So cosy and saves you building camps with blankets and sofa cushions
Fantastic purchase!!It is an effort to fold stiff heavy mattress in. But the building of the poles and inserting them isn’t difficult if you have a bit if patience. My son then 7 constantly wanted to make camps out of sofa cushions and blankets during lockdown especially. This is more sustainable and soooo cosy for him. After a month he wanted it removed so it went downstairs with an easier foam mattress until I got fed up with it so then moved to the spare room where I worked from home and the cat loved it. Then I packed it away in the bag it came with which is for a change a more than suitable sized bag and very neat. A year on and its back on my sons bed again. He’s now 9 and it provides him with his own den and calm space. Would absolutely recommend it. Would love a white one for my kingsize!

Great to keep kids safe
Pops up perfectly and very easy to take down (instructions are confusing but you’ll soon work it out). Used to keep child safe at bedtime when having a sleepover/on holiday

Base Camp Bed
As a grandfather with still some faculties left I do remember my childhood way back in the mists of time - the 1970's - making dens and imagining incredible adventures sparked by my then love of Enid Blyton's Famous Five and Adventure series.Whilst the years have knocked most of those dreams into an old rusty bin, having two wonderful twin six year old grandchildren has reignited some of that wonder through their eyes. It's a grand thing indeed to have small people in your life, for sure. And I think my wife is the same because she bough this to go on their bunk beds we have in our house for when they sleep over. The bottom has loose covers thanks to Ikea and but the top where my grandson occupies like a mountain redoubt was free from protection from the elements. So we got this. And it's brilliant.Well made, fits perfectly on a single bunk and allows the small folks a chance to live out their fantasies with something a bit more real than an old bedsheet. The 'tent' itself fits under the mattress to keep it securely in place so you don't have to worry about it falling off at night dragging your child with it.It's well ventilated although on a really hot summers night will increase the heat a bit like any tent will. Most of the time though it's fine.Overall, if my grandchildren are anything to go by this is a hit.

Good Design, Subpar Materials (It Broke Upon Installation)
We gave the tent a full six months before packing it in and throwing it away, here's what worked and didn't work about this tent in our experience:PROS• Cosy environment.• Lightweight fabric allows airflow between room and tent.• Allows light through nicely, but dims for soothing in-tent atmosphere.• Tie-backs stay on securely and are handy for when changing the bedding.• Pockets are nice for a little stuffed toy or small water bottle.CONS• It was incredibly difficult to get onto the mattress initially.• Changing the bed's sheets is difficult and since it's designed for kids, sheets need to be changed more than once a week usually.• The mesh didn't hold up well and got small holes from normal pillow friction.• Just in getting the tent onto the bed, one pole broke and the bottom edge that is tucked in ripped. This meant the pressure to keep the pole taut for above-bed height wasn't up to par and it sagged. I repaired it with a small PVC tube and duct tape, but that only lasted about a month because without the force from the edge beneath the mattress, the poles do not have something to push against for tautness.• The edge that gets tucked below the mattress is nice, but not big enough to hold in a child who rolls out of bed, so though it is a deterrent it is not intended to keep a child in bed like a proper railing system (we bought this to move on from the railing system for a more 'big kid' feel).Overall, I loved the idea of this tent, but it felt like every week I had to grab the duct tape and try to MacGyver a fix for it. Ultimately, after six months of that, it had to go in the bin. Because the pole guidance loops ripped as well as the tuck-under fabric AND the pole broke, it was not just one issue. I am giving it three stars (not lower) though because the design was well-intended. These photos show six months of duct tape layers and many attempts to repair the broken pole.

Snug fit, but a quality product, with strong material and seams etc.
It is a neat design, based on the classic 'arching flexi-poles through loops' concept. The material is strong, as are the seams: they need to be, as some effort is required to 'bend' the mattress into place within the tent. It does fit a deep single mattress, but as others have said, it is snug. In our case, it has left the material tight, making the vertical zip difficult to close (after only the initial fitting at least). This might improve as the material stretches and de-creases etc. The poled are strong and flexible, with a simple tie at the top. However, that's not really required as the tent is rigid enough. The net sides offer a little privacy, depending on the lighting, but it easily supports several blanks if greater darkness is required. I'd recomment this product, no problem. It might be possible to place the tent ON the mattress, and insert just a mattress 'topper' over the tents base, if you have one. I would also think it could be user elsewhere, in other situations? Good, strong product. Highly recommended.

A lightweight easy sleep solution for holidays!
Great idea - the sides do give and so my son would still fall out of bed if in a single (he has an enclosed BearHugzz bed at home), but when we went away we pushed two single beds together, had the tent on the single bed next to the wall, the second bed acted as a safe space in case he lent on it whilst sleeping - and, for the first time ever we had a viable sleeping solution (other than on the floor!) And he slept lovely on holiday.. he loved the space inside the tent, was very safe and even learned to undo the zip lol (he's 4). Its so easy and lightweight. Highly recommend for holidays or sleep overs!
