Urbanears - Plattan ADV Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Power Pink

I like the battery life and the appearance of these headphones. Sound quality is pretty decent and the bass comes through well. However, after 6 months of use they're now entirely obsolete because one of the ears has snapped off (as has happened to so many other reviewers). It's not something I can fix and still have full function from, so now I need to look to replace them.I thought I was a lucky one, but it only took half a year, almost to the day, for them to be unusable. What a shocking waste. I can't wait to see them sit in landfill for hundreds of years!What's more is I feel terrible for recommending them to a friend who had her pair for 3 months before both ears snapped off completely and they were unusable also. These headphones are too expensive to be so fragile, especially as they don't come with a case to protect them.

Today is exactly one year since I bought the ADV. I have a Pixel 2, which dropped the jack, so I needed BT headphones. I've a fan of Urbanears for years now and after looking around I ended up choosing ADV. There was really nothing else matching the feature set at the price point. I want to address the comments about build quality. Urbanears in my experience have been like that since I have discovered them. The products look good, work great, but durability has always been a weak point. I have had a number of their product fail within one year, which sucks considering the price. However, I have had their support replace them every time with a brand new pair due to 1 year warranty. Back to the ADV, I have had zero issues so far and I use them nearly every day. They've been in backpacks, bags, dropped, and looking at them now they look brand new.Pros==========* Compact and can be folded* Many colors to choose from and simple clean design* Feel very comfortable to wear. Leather pads with not too much pressure* Not ideal for running as will slip off. They block outside sound mostly. (I suggest standion model, less bass, but you can hear the surrounding environment, which i consider a feature for running outside)* Battery life is amazing. I charge them once a week. 1.5 to 3hr daily use usually. After one year, the battery seems to hold just fine. There is ab early warning sound that shortly interrupts the sound to indicate low battery.* Charges reasonably fast via USB* Can be used while charging.* Can be used for calls as there is build-in mic* Comes with cable that can be attached to turn them into regular wired headphones with no BT or battery required. The wire has a remote on the wire with play/pause button and in-line mic* No problems connecting them to multiple phones (only tried androids) and laptops. There is no need to re-pair them. To switch them from my phone to laptop I just disable BT on the phone, which disconnects them and then I click connect on the ADV on the laptop.* A second pair can be connect via the jack while on BT and two people can enjoy the same audio. I've used this on flights and works great.* Volume control can go pretty high and the headphones can be really loud* The sound quality is good with nice lows* Reception in tight house is usually ~5meters before the signal starts to cut off. The wont lose connection, so once you are back in range audio will resume. If it is a more open space with no walls they can do 10-15 meters. Ideally, you want to be within 5 meters.* Packaging is great, and the box comes with poster and a sticker.Cons==========* The touch control is fiddly and not as responsive as buttons. Rewinding is difficult if you want to do it a couple of times in a row. It stops working when wet. Controls are the biggest weakness of the ADV* Durability, while I haven't encountered the breakage at the join yet, I will not be surprise if they break that way. Urbanears in my experience have a hard time making it to 2 years with regular use.* Pricey. I would be quite happy to pay the full price, if the products lasted longer* VERY rarely sound will drop for half a second. Usually when I am out and about and the phone is my pocket. I've noticed really bad reception on two public places, which was likely to external interference. Turning BT off/on usually solved the issue once outside of those areas.* Easy to lose. This may sound a bit silly, but since they are no tethered I tend to occasionally forget them in the car or on a desk. These headphones were bought as a gift and the recipient thoroughly enjoyed them. The delivery time was excellent; the packaging was sleek and satisfying to open; and the instructions inside were clear and concise.These headphones were easy to connect to the recipient's phone and worked well immediately. I'm no audiophile but the sound quality was great and it played all the songs I listened to well, with no indication of bad quality or its relatively low price in the realm of high-end headphones. The headphones themselves look great, and unlike many other brands, they don't ruin their appearance by stamping on a huge logo on the headphones, which was also a big plus. These headphones were also quite comfortable for both the recipient who has a relatively small head, and for me even though I have a relatively large head. Although, I didn't wear them for long enough to notice any discomfort, but I imagine, as with most on-ear headphones, there will be some discomfort after extended periods of use.I cannot yet comment on the battery life or long-term durability of these headphones, but they seem to be of a high quality so far.

I've been using these headphones multiple hours daily for several weeks now, and couldn't be happier with them. The battery life is more than enough, I only really charge them once every 3 or 4 days, with probably 10-15 hours listening between charges.They're very comfortable to wear, although I do find that I have to take them off after an hour or so of listening or I start getting earache. This is something I experience with all on-ear headphones though.I happened to have a pair of Beats headphones (not mine) to compare these to. The sound quality of the more expensive Beats is impressive, I found them to be more clear than the Urbanears, and a bit more bassy too. Saying that, the Urbanears are are of more than sufficient audio quality, although you are getting what you pay for.The touch controls on the Urbanears are very convenient. I often find myself using them to skip and change the volume. Others have written that they often accidentally trigger them, but I have had no such problem.Overall would strongly recommend. I now never leave home without my Urbanears headphones!

Dank der Bedienungsanleitung hier auf der Seite hat es mit dem Pairing dann doch gut geklappt. :) Hab gleichzeitig den JBL E45 BT bestellt. Klanglich sind beide Geräte top! Pairing war etwas intuitiver beim JBL aber wer lesen kann... ;)Mir gefällt der Urbanears letztlich besser, da etwas leichter und besser gepolstert. Zur Laufzeit des Akkus kann ich noch nichts sagen. Erst gestern alles ausgepackt.Kaufentscheidend waren für mich die Aspekte: leicht, kompakt, weich, on ear, BT und Kabelbetrieb, mitgelieferte Kabel zum hören und laden im Lieferumfang enthalten. Alles voll erfüllt! Ach ja, im Gegensatz zum JBL dringt die Musik beim Urbanears nicht nach außen. Also auch diesbezüglich ein Pluspunkt.Zudem liegt der Hörer gut an, so dass man überhaupt kein noise cancellation braucht. Top für den Preis!Weiterer Pluspunkt : gute Verarbeitung - auch der mitgelieferten Kabel. Sind umwebt und machen somit einen stabilen Eindruck. Das könnte sich AKG mal abgucken.Nach erstem Test : Kaufempfehlung

Peut-être le 10e casque que j'essaie. De loin le meilleur.Pas tant pour la qualité du son lui-même (qui est cela dit très bon, clair, avec de bonnes basses). Plutôt pour son ergonomie. Il épouse parfaitement le crâne. On peut l'utiliser le temps d'un jogging, sans craindre de la perdre. Ses coussins restent confortables, même après quatre heures d'écoute. Je m'en sers essentiellement en Bluetooth avec un smartphone sous Android, même s'il est possible de l'utiliser en filaire (fil de grande qualité, comme le câble de chargement USB). Les fonctions de commandes par "glissement" sur l'écouteur droit sont à la fois discrètes et ingénieuses. Il paie pas de mine comme ça, mais je ne pourrai certainement pas trouver mieux avant longtemps, surtout à ce prix.

Ich trage die Kopfhörer (mit integriertem Micro) täglich. Die 14 Stunden Laufzeit kommen auf jeden Fall hin, wenn nicht sogar länger als 14 Stunden. Die Ladezeit ist recht schnell. Ich hab leider nicht auf doe Uhr geschaut, aber unter 2H ist es. Da auch fragen zum stören als Brillenträger aufkamen..mich stört es gar nicht. Die weichen Ledermuscheln liegen geschmeidig an ohne das es unangenehm ist. Der sound ist echt Klasse, kein überschreien und der Bass bleibt auch bei voller Lautstärke "sauber".Die Kopfhörer sind klein, kompackt und passen gut in die Tasche, da die Ohrmuscheln einklappbar sind. Die Verarbeitung ist stabil und wirkt/ist solide. Die Größenverstellung ist einfach und fest, damit es sich nicht verzieht. Die Steuerungen ist Geschmackssache. Da gibt es von mir ein Stern Abzug (ich mag lieber Knöpfe) die gesamte Oberfläche der Ohrmuschel ist die Bedienungsfläsche. Pause, weiter, nächster Titel, Laut und leiser lassen sich darüber Steuern. Auch Telefonate sind ab- und annehmbar (solange keine Kabelverbindung besteht). Ich hab das Headset auch im regen genutzt als ich meine Kapuze drüber zog gab es immer wieder Umstellungen am Touch-Bereich. Wenn ich richtig liege lag es daran das Wasser auf der Touch-Fläche war.Die Entfernung zwischen Handy (huawei p9lite) sind entspannte 10 m ggf mehr möglich. Ich werd es demnächst als direktes headset am pc nutzen und gebe gerne auch dazu noch infos später .Alles im allen für unter 40€ im Angebot ist es ein absolutes Schnäppchen mit sehr hoher Qualität. Definitive eine Empfehlung.

Eigentlich passt mit den Kopfhörern alles:- Tolles Design- Fester Sitz, auch beim Sport- Waschbarer Bezug am Bügel- Intuitive Steuerung am rechten Ohr- Dezente LED- Platzsparend in der Tasche- Qualität vom Material absolut okay- stylisch verpacktAllerdings muss ich die Kopfhörer dennoch zurückschicken, weil der Empfang miserabel ist. Sobald ich mein Smartphone in die Tasche stecke habe ich nur noch Verbindungsabbrüche. Wenn ich den Kopf drehe ist der Empfang komplett weg.Fazit: Die Kopfhörer können noch so toll sein, wenn meine Musik nicht abgespielt wird bringt es alles nichts.

Muy ligeros y portables, ideales para un uso durante todo el día, tanto en la calle como en casa.No cubren toda la oreja, por lo que sí no estás acostumbrado o vienes de unos auriculares que la tapan entera, la sensación es extraña al principio, pero de ahí no pasa, enseguida te adaptas. Justamente por eso se nota que hacen más presión sobre la oreja, en mi caso, no llegan a ser incómodos.Mis conclusiones:-Lo mejor: el peso, la conectividad y un sonido más que decente para el precio que tienen. La batería cumple con la segunda especificaciones. El micrófono funciona bastante bien, mejor que otras experiencias con auriculares más caros.-Lo peor: se echa en falta una funda (aunque fuera de tela) porque se ensucian con facilidad y no es fácil desmontarlos para lavar las piezasremovibles.Buen producto y a buen precio. Los volvería a comprar. Los recomiendo para los que buscan buen sonido y, sobre todo portabilidad, sin dejarse una cantidad de 3 cifras por el camino. Eso sí, sí eres un sibarita del sonido no te van a dar lo que necesitas.

Auf der Suche nach Kopfhörern in dieser Preisklasse habe ich mir etwas Zeit gelassen. Nach einiger Bedenkzeit habe ich mich nun für diese Kopfhörer entschieden, einfach auch weil nicht jeder mit solchen rumläuft.Hatte erst überlegt mir die Motorola Escape Pulse + zu holen, aber meine Wahl viel dann doch auf die Urbanears.Gestern kamen sie an und ich habe sie sofort ausprobiert. Das koppeln gelang ziemlich einfach und auch die Bedienung war recht simpel. Nachdem man einen Blick in die Bedienungsanleitung geworfen hat. Mein erster Eindruck ist wirklich gut. Vorher hatte ich die Beats Solo, aber diese sind für den preis echt top.Die Tragbarkeit ist sehr angenehm und auch der Musikklang ist, für den preis, sehr gut. Habe auch schon mit den Kopfhörern telefoniert und muss sagen, dass es sehr gut geklappt hat.Also alles im Allen ein gutes Produkt.

Dank einer Beschreibung auf der urbanears-Seite habe ich es dann doch geschafft, den Kopfhörer zu koppeln.Zur Qualität wurde schon viel geschrieben, was ich alles unterstreichen kann: gut verarbeitet, Kabel mit Stoffschutz, unter dem abnehmbaren Stoffpolster ein Metallbügel, Bedienung über den rechten Hörer (laut, leise, Pause/Play, skippen). Das alles ist klasse.Zu den Äußerlichkeiten: Die Kopfhörer liegen gut an, könnten etwas größer sein, schirmen aber auch so Geräusche von außen ganz manierlich ab.Im Endeffekt macht es aber der Sound. Hier haben mich sofort die angenehmen, nicht zu penetrant auftretenden Bässe überzeugt. Auch die Mitten sind nicht aufdringlich, allerdings fehlt mir einiges bei den Höhen. Das kann ich zwar am MP3-Player einstellen, doch speist ein und das selbe Profil sowohl meine Hifi-Anlage, mein Autoradio als auch andere Kopfhörer in den Höhen besser. Hier fehlt dem Plattan ADV das Crispe. Zum Glück kann ich am Player verschiedene Profile erstellen. Doch mir ging es darum, gleichzeitig zwei unterschiedliche Kopfhörer ohne Fummeln anzuspielen.Mal sehen, was ich da noch rausholen kann.

Hallo,diese Kopfhörer in weiss waren ein Geschenk für eine 12 jahrige weibliche Person (nicht Brillenträger)- Verarbeitung:Die Verarbeitung geht für diese Preisklasse völlig in Ordnung. Aufgefallen ist das der Bügel mit den abnehmbaren Bügelpolster öfters mal nicht ganz akkurrat sitzt und manuell nachjustiert werden muss. Besser kann ich es leider nicht beschreiben.- Tragekomfort:Ich selbst als Brillenträger mit einen relativ "großen" Kopf empfand das die Kopfhörer sehr schnell anfangen zu drücken (maximale Größe war eingestellt). Die beschenkende Person empfindet den Tragekomfort jedoch als okay und nicht störend.- Klangdie Bässe/tiefen werden etwas präsent in den Vordergrund geholt ohne jedoch die Mitten und Höhen nicht präsent wirken zu lassen.Sonstiges:- Ab etwa 3-4m kommt es bereits zu Bluetooth Abbrüchen je nachdem wie viel Hindernisse im Weg sind.- Das Touch Panel ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig geht aber nach einer Eingewöhnungszeit in Ordnung (eine Bedienung mit Handschuhen habe ich nicht ausprobiert)Aufgrund des Gesamtbildes bin ich der Meinung das dieser Kopfhörer ein gutes Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis hat.

Disappointing update:Unfortunately, less than two years after purchasing these, they've utterly given up the ghost. They've seen only light, infrequent use, are stored in a cool dry storage place with other electronics, and never travel anywhere other than on my head without a storage case, but when I pulled them out today to charge them, I found that the adhesive that holds the metal logo plates (don't know if they serve a purpose other than cosmetic) has dried up and given out, and that the metal retaining clip part that keeps the actual cushioned speaker part for the left side apparently slipped out and vanished at some point without my noticing. I'd try to repair them, but I've no idea where to look for replacement parts, as Urbanears' repair service "doesn't exist" unless you're submitting something within warranty, which, naturally, expired after one year. This is a real disappointment, as I really liked these headphones, but they're now unusable.Original review:Love the headphones themselves: good sound, beautiful colour, and even pretty comfortable, and I usually have a lot of trouble with on-ear headphones (big head).My one complaint: there is no way to figure out the specific battery level at any given time, and the documentation is really unclear as to how the low-battery reporting features work. My other Bluetooth headphones (Jaybird Freedoms, which also verbally report a specific battery range when I power them on) report their level to my Android phone, where I can see the percentage under the Bluetooth, but for some reason Urbanears decided not to implement this feature in their headphones (possibly they're too old?), which is a little disappointing. The documentation says that the LED turns red when the battery is low, but that's not super-helpful as I generally put them on before powering them on. They also make a periodic beeping sound during playback if the battery is low, but there's no information in either the documentation that comes with the headphones, or anywhere online, that explains at what threshold the headphones decide the warning should be given. 20%? 20 hours? 10 minutes? I had to contact the company directly to find out how much time I had left once the headphones started giving low-battery warnings - I was told "about 2 hours," but it's more like 45 minutes.

Devo premettere che è il quarto paio di Urbanears che compro, sono sempre rimasto entusiasta dalla qualità e dal design ma stavolta non ci siamo.Riconosco la "mano" del produttore e apprezzo l'estetica delle cuffie, unitamente a soluzioni tecnologiche all'avanguardia (come i comandi a sfioramento); tuttavia queste cuffie sono carenti proprio in quello che dovrebbe essere il loro punto di forza: la connettività Bluetooth. La connessione con i miei dispositivi è stata semplice, purtroppo però manca la stabilità che consente di godere della musica senza rimpiangere le cuffie con cavo. L'audio è frequentemente disturbato da interferenze, sporcato da "singhiozzi", soprattutto se il dispositivo di streaming è tenuto in tasca. Se si estrae il dispositivo dalla tasca la situazione migliora ma non è comunque ottimale. Un vero peccato.

Impossible de trouver un équivalent pour 40€ :DLe son est plutôt pas mal, étouffé dans les aigües comme d'habitude dans les entrée de gamme. La connexion BT est simple, pas de souci, l'interface tactile fonctionne vraiment bien et est super agréable à utiliser.Par contre, il y a des micro coupures (enfin, ça arrive que ça dure 1-2s) en bluetooth sur un P8 lite, je crois que ça vient du téléphone, mais attention donc. Il semble que ça dépende du type d'encodage de fichier.Le plus: on peut utiliser le casque, même en bluetooth pendant la charge. Mais le niveau de batterie n'est pas affiché sur le téléphone, étrange quand des produits 5 fois moins chers le permettent...Je n'est pas encore testé l'autonomie, sur l'emballage c'est noté 14h et dans la notice 8h...edit après un mois: Aucun souci rencontré, l'autonomie est bien au delà de mes espérances!! Je l'utilise au quotidien, 2h dans les transports+toute la journée au bureau et je tiens 3 jours sans problème (je pense donc plutôt à plus de 20h d'autonomie). Concernant les microcoupures, ça vient bien du téléphone et des applis, avec soundcloud ça ne coupe jamais.

+ schauen stylisch und wertig aus & fühlt sich auch so an+ Pairing hat auf Anhieb geklappt+ leicht zu verstellen und angenehm zu tragen (Das Problem mit den stechenden Ohrringen hatte ich Anfangs auch, da ich über den Sommer meist Inears trage, ist aber mit dem richtigen Sitz kein Problem mehr.)+ Touch Bedienung funktioniert 1A, das hatte ich nicht erwartet & auf der Oberfläche bleiben dennoch keine hässlichen Fingerabdrücke+ Akku hält bei mir ohne Probleme über den ganzen Tag- BT Reichweite nur ~4-6m innen, ohne Wände dazwischen- BT nicht immer stabil, wobei ich nicht sicher bin ob das diese speziellen Kopfhörer sind oder das ein Technologieding ist. Zur Erklärung; wenn ich Abends spazieren gehe habe ich meist keine Tasche dabei und habe das Handy (iPhone7) in der linken Manteltasche. Sobald ich den Kopf zu weit nach rechts neige um zB beim Straße queren nach Autos zu schauen bricht die Verbindung zuverlässig ab bis ich den Kopf wieder geradeaus richte. In der Rechten bzw Innentasche tritt dies ebenfalls ab und zu auf (wenn auch nicht so zuverlässig). Sobald das Handy in einer Handtasche oder meinem üblichen Messengerbag (Leder) liegt ist es kein Problem. Nun bin ich unsicher, ob das Innenfutter (außen Wolle innen leider Polyester) nicht eine gewisse Statik verursacht, die wiederum den Empfang beeinträchtigen kann. Mit meiner Lederjacke habe ich das Problem nicht (Seidenfutter). Da dies meine ersten BT-Kopfhörer sind kann ich das schlecht beurteilen. Bei anderen Geräten ist mir bisher nichts dergleichen aufgefallen.Nach dem Workaround wg der Abbrüche funktionieren sie nun einwandfrei für mich; 4 Sterne.

Estoy feliz con los cascos, pero tienen algunos detalles, al menos para mi, que soy muy quisquilloso con el audio. De sonido son muy buenos, pero no sé si los controles para las pistas son adecuados. Muchas veces presiono para pausar la música y termino subiendo el volumen o adelantando la canción. Otro detalle es que no conseguí sincronizarlos con mi tablet, aunque el servicio de Atención al Cliente de UrbanEars es bastante bueno y rápido.

Ende Juni 2015 gekauft. Laufen heute vier Jahren später immer noch ohne Macken. Auch wenn sie unbenutzt mehrere Monate in der Ecke lagen. Entstauben und aufsetzen. BT verbindet sich Akku immer noch voll. Bin echt glücklich damit.Bin zwar kein Fan von dieser Art Kopfhörer, bevorzuge In Ear aber da sind die BT Versionen alle Mist und Kabel gehen alle paar Monate kaputt. Egal diese hier haben kleinerlei Probleme mit den Bluetooth, sehen schick aus und sitzen gut.Ich als random Amazon Kunde kann die empfehlen.

A mi chico le han encantado, tiene unos de la misma marca pero no eran bluetooth, pensé que la calidad del sonido sería algo inferior y para nada es así. Se escucha el sonido con todo detalle y los controles que tiene para regular la intensidad del volumen van geniales para conectarlos a la SmartTv pues yo tengo unos AirPods y no puedo hacer lo mismo. El audio es envolvente pero no cancela el ruido del todo lo que no me parece en absoluto una desventaja. Él los carga una vez por semana y los usa todos los días. La relación calidad precio es tremenda. La verdad que si quieres hacer tu vida más libre sin cables es un producto totalmente recomendado y pienso autoregalarme unos.
