Outdoor Photographer of the Year: Portfolio II: 2

I thought I was a fair sort of Outdoor photographer until I saw this.Being the best of Outdoor magazine's contributors, one would expect something competent. These photographs take outdoor imaging to a new level and even beyond. I trust the images are basically what the photographer saw but I wonder if post processing has added another dimension?For example there's a brilliant spread of a lighthouse with lightning included. Wildlife gets excellent coverage as does macro photography.The collection reflects photographers with a love of the outdoors. They also have a passion for the environment and its conservation. Each entry confirms that a successful photograph has that essential something extra. Captions delightfully give a few secrets away along with technical data.

I read the magazine and hoped that this book would prove to be just as good. Well it's not, it is better. The quality is of the book is really very good and the images are superb and provide great inspiration for the aspiring photographer.

Bought as a gift and it went down a treat
