Great quality coasters that look extremely good on the coffee table. They are very heavy - so no chance of them lifting with your cup if it is damp on the bottom! You only get 2 which is a little unusual and a bit of a disappointment as I think a 4 pack would have been more reasonable to expect. Very impressive coasters!

The box contains two long oblong coasters..They have pads underneath for feet...The top is flat and smooth and the edges are not sharp...I’ve used these for cheese but I think that they would also be good for dessert...A nice item to smarten up the dinner table...

Must admit I didn't check size before ordering & went by description ! Too small to be of any real use would have returned only busy with other Christmas things

This is a make I’ve heard of before and tend to like as far as kitchen stuff goes. This set of two slate mats are fine for using for serving desert on makes it look stylish and even better in our house means the larger placemats I already bought a while back go with them. Another use I’ve found is also using them as candle coasters as they can take a medium sized candle nicely. Ideal for serving maybe your cheese course on or just as a mat for your glass of mulled wine. They wash well easy to wipe over to clean and no loose bits of slate seem to come off them which is a good thing. No sharp edges to mark tables either. They are quite a bit heavier than your usual coaster type mats though.
