Lets solder on.
I bought this item not expecting much. Now having used it, well how wrong i was.Heats up fast, cools down quick. Adjustable temperature and handy light to indicate that the power is on.Good selection of tips, good solder sucker. Only minus point is that i think the sponge moves around far to much. The dip in the soldering iron stand for the sponge is simply not deep enough.Apart from that, this is a quality item and great value. Good quality zip wallet to put it all away again.I thoroughly recommend this item.

Good beginners kit
Comes with everything you need to start soldering. The iron itself works very well, and the bag is a nice bonus. I've been able to carry out a couple of projects with no trouble. Just make sure you watch some tutorial videos first if you're not familiar with soldering

Love it, used it to solder my pi
I've used this soldering iron a few times since I got it. It comes with all the tools you could possibly need and the different ends give you the ability to do some pretty precise soldering.I used it for soldering my Raspberry Pi Zero pins

Make sure if you buy new, you GET new. Customer service actually turned out good
So I was swayed by the positive comments here and for the most part, they've been absolutely spot on. This thing works well enough... If the tips haven't been used already and one of them didn't have used solder on it, nor another being badly oxidised inside. Brand new? Yeah, right. The rest of the gear seems ok, haven't tested the pump but the wire cutters are a bit of a butcher, I couldn't apply the right pressure so I'll stick to my Wilko wire stripper which works far better for me. As for the stand, I may well weld that together, since the top nut will easily overshoot the thread after a few turns (the thread just runs straight into the iron holder) and that's potentially dangerous with a hot iron in it.EDIT: This isn't an overdue edit, the company got in touch with me not long ago to apologise for the product I was given. They have dealt with the matter and have compensated me for the problem, in fact, they went a bit further than that! Ok, it took a while to reply but dealt with :)

(Update) For the odd job
Update to my previous review, after speaking to the seller/supplier I can say from my experience they offer fantastic customer service, I cannot fault them at all. We talked about the problems I have with the problems i have had with this product and have found that i very likely received a faulty product.Sometimes this happens, not all faulty products can be found during the production stage.Since my previous review I have used the product again and it still works. From where i stand now do i recommend this product? Yes, as long as you're not looking for a soldering iron for more industrial jobs.(Old review)To start of, this soldering iron is cheap in comparison to other irons. It feels cheap and probably wouldn't take much effort to break, but as I said, its a cheap price, what can we expect.My biggest issue with this soldering iron is how hot the handle gets, not a burning hot but it's uncomfortable to hold, and the black rubber part of the handle (closes side to the tip) is very very hot.The good news about their heat is that the soldering iron does get hot enough to solder, in terms of its function it works fine.Along with the soldering iron you get different tools and a case, the tools (specifically the solder sucker and tweezers) are good, I haven't used the others as of yet as I simply don't need them.Do I recommend this soldering iron? Well it depends what you want, if you just need one for a one of job or only the odd thing you need it for, then yes I do. But if you're wanting to use this soldering iron daily or maybe even weekly for work or hobby, I do recommend spending more money.For me it does what i need
