Worth the expierence
Worried about the harm chemical dyes have had on my hair but still loving coloring it I am delving into henna hair dye. My sister and I tried it in the past and I forgot what a wonderfully hilarously details that come with this process.Upon putting the dye in a mixing bowl the green powder turned from fine dust into a lovely swampy sludge which smelled akin mulchy, slightly moldy grass that avidly petted a wet dog. Due to the warmth from the boiled water I was directed to mix it with my mind could not help but picture that but the runniest of poos. It was then that I realized that rubber gloves where nowhere to be found. With the powder already mixed, I accepted my demise. Scooping up the rank sludge I proceeded to dump it upon my head, laughing like the mighty sludge hobo I had become.Naturally, I made my hair into a fabulous point, and then a majestic swirl. Looking at my reflection was much akin to what I imagine it be like to look upon Elvis Presley dunking his head into a fresh cowpie, all while the gel refusing to loose shape of it's majestic swoosh. The sludge then proceed to ooze down my eats and neck as I attempted to spread it somewhat evenly. My sad attempts at dabbing away the misplaced swamp oozed left me with wonderful brown streaks finding there way across my shoulders and back. I know knew what I may look like if I ever wished to cosplay as Fiona from Shrek. After cleaning up, I feebly picked up the direction and was instructed by the booklet to put a towel or bag upon the my head of hair to help keep the heat and henna in. The bag suggestion I was sure, was also a tip to help complete the hobo look. I realized then that it had to sit for 45 minuetes to an hour.Naturally, to avoid further goop spreadage I resided to have a bath, as from previous steps I had relieved myself from clothes I did not wish to stain. Entering the bath I realized I had made a hug mistake and had missed the large gob that had found it's way to my back and now found it's way into my drawn bath. The color that was birthed was like witnessing a poorly conceived bath bomb, as the color went from urine to a faint yet Gastly green. Sighing heavily, I laid back and resided to my fate as a swamp witch. Finally, after my hour was up, I emptied the bath to take a color rinse to allow the henna to set. The green good dripping down on my was like witnessing a live action adult Nickelodeon sliming. Heavy hair drying later, and the ordeal was finally over.10/10 would buy again. My hair looks and feels amazing

Copper - It's BEAUTIFUL!
Love it. I was skeptical putting it on but it came out amazing. As said in the instructions I added really bright red hot tea with the powder so it be more vibrant and it came out beautiful. I will def keep buying this product as it's plant based and it it left my hair feeling really soft too because how rich its in vitamin E. Thank you, I had it in storage for a year and since I'm moving out I'm playing with everything I find and making a list of what I will keep using and this is definitely in my cart.. <3

you need patience and its messy but worth it!
It is a powder and is messy. It smells like green tea or matcha. You need a quality shower cap for this and to follow the directions for it to work properly but the results are beautiful and look line you spent 6 hours getting full highlights at the salon.

Texture and color wrong for me
This came out darker than I thought it would and seemed to weight down my hair more. Maybe someone else would have a better experience?

Perfect color and so soft!
I've never dyed my hair at all before, and I was very nervous that it would come out either with no change, or looking like it came out of a bottle. I tried the copper color, and I love the results! I started with light brown, and was able to get the perfect coppery tones and red highlights, and my hair is so soft! It was easy to use with great results, and I'm not at all worried about frying my hair.

BEWARE!! HENNA RUINS FUTURE DYE JOBS!
I want to warn folks who may not know---that if you use henna, even once, you will NEVER be able to color your hair with anything other than henna again (until it completely grows out after a few years). I did not know this and I had a series of horrible experiences that have left me disheartened and my hair ruined. Three months after using henna, I decided I wanted to try blonde highlights to add a little fun to my look. My hair stylist used high quality hair lightener but it turned absolutely, completely orange. Horrible orange. So a few days later she tried to lighten it again, thinking it would just take another try to break through the henna. It turned horrible neon yellow. A few days later she tried to dye it back to my natural brown, and it is STILL YELLOW. Needless to say, my hair is now horribly damaged and coarse with breakage, AND it looks terrible. There is nothing I can do, nothing my extremely experienced salon professsional can do. All of this is because of Henna, which is a very strong plant-based dye that reacts erratically to the chemicals in all other dyes (at professional salons and out of a box). ONLY use henna if you are fine with never using "real" hair dye ever again. That being said, I will also say that this product didn't make much of a difference in my hair color to begin with. I ordered Persian Copper to add depth and red to my medium-brown hair. I used boiled coffee instead of water to mix it, in order to avoid it being too red, and it must have really worked well to neutralize the red because my hair color barely changed. It was more like just a slight shimmer of deep red if I was in particular lighting. That's part of why I didn't even think about it affecting future dye jobs, because I could barely tell it was in there. Well, it was! I regret every decision in my life that led to me ordering and using this dye. Be careful!!!!!

I use copper and strawberry blonde
I love these henna hair ties. I use the strawberry blonde mixed with the copper red. I usually use a quarter copper and then the rest of that strawberry blonde. I like that it gives my hair in the natural red hair look. My hair is naturally red but as I'm getting older I have a lot of grayness and grungy look on the top so I like to even out the color with Henna. I mix mine with water, and I don't measure it I just use warm water to the consistency that I like. I do add one egg and usually a tablespoon of oil. Hannah is very hard to watch out of your hair and should be left in for about an hour so I recommend doing this when you have a lot of time on your hands. Generally it takes me about 35 minutes to fully wash the hen out of my hair – and then I Will find little bits of Hannah chunks coming out as I am brushing it. But for me I love how the color comes out so it makes it definitely worth it.
